Ignore it. Michael C is spot on. You can't bank a ten score.
That's an interesting debate for me. Michael C has a good point that I hadn't exactly considered before, but I'm not sure that I agree. I'm really only satisfied with 9's and 10's on my shops. Yes, I know you get paid the same amount for a 7 or 8, but if I were a scheduler, you'd better believe I'd look at potential shoppers' past performance before assigning the higher-paying shops. If I take the extra few minutes to score a perfect 10, don't I have a better chance of landing an assignment worth hundreds of dollars down the road? Or developing a good relationship with a company, which is worth thousands?
On a side note, I don't quite understand all the hate that Intelli-Shop gets on this forum. I really like them--I get high-paying assignments from them, and have never scored less than a 10 on a single job. The schedulers and editors that I've spoken to have been awesome. I wish they had more shops in my area that fit my niche.
It's funny how people can have such different experiences from the same client, whether it's eating at a restaurant or taking a contract from an MSC. If you think about it, that's really at the heart of what we do as mystery shoppers.
