Exxon Quarter 3 Changes

Looking over the Exxon Q3 Client Requirements, I see there is some discussion of narratives and I also see that the shops are paying $1.00 more than previously. There is some discussion of additional questions as well as narratives. In the Client Requirements I recognize some changes in the drug paraphernalia area and also note a few other small differences. Right now I can't figure out a way to get a copy of the report form, although the website says on the bottom of the "Print Evaluation" page that the report is available in Other Documentation. Don't think so. Maybe later. I sincerely hope this does not portend that Exxon is going the way of Shell with new game rules every quarter. Change is hard at my house. Yikes!

How much do they say that they are paying? I have been receiving $1.00 increase for a couple of months not counting the evening eligible shops which pay even more. There have been somewhat major changes every quarter and usually minor changes every month not counting the POP changes. This is nothing new in my part if town.
The extra $1.00 is for the new Plenti program questions. Pretty simple and I'll take the buck. The Shell program, on the other hand, has become annoying. I was asked to submit a photo of the "no food" question. I had two shops put on hold for this and I asked a scheduler and a supervisor how I can take a picture of something that is not there. I was told to submit more "product" pictures and/or another overall picture. Fortunately, I take a lot pf pictures, just in case. I was also asked to submit a photo of the two receipts of a marina shop. If only I knew they would reimburse my gas and product purchases I would have bought a yacht and filled it up at the dock.
Are you saying that you are just seeing the Plenti promotion now? It has been going on for two months up here.
Not saying that but that is what the extra $1.00 is for. I too, have had it for the past couple of months.
By the way, I think I have solved my overall picture problem (for Shell) - you know, when there is a tight area and can't get the entire c-store in one picture. I got rid of my Samsung S-4 because of problems and bought an apple 6. There is a panoramic photo feature on it which can pan out and take the entire store. Neat.
I think we got a late rollout in my area as most of my June stores did not have the Plenti promotion. If they paid $1.00 more I didn't catch it. I do very few Exxons in the even numbered months but I have a wagon load in the odd numbered months. I'd like to even that out but can't figure out a risk free plan to do that.

. When you resize it I bet a panoramic photo looks VERY interesting.

Do you still have to buy cigarettes and booze, then leave them with the cashier? So far, I have not accepted any of these shops because that just seems so weird. Now there are bunches in my local area. I dunno....
The shops I'm doing require a gas purchase and an inside purchase that cannot be cigs, alcohol, or lottery.

I did Exxon in May and the Plenti POP was supposed to be in place at the time but I don't remember any Plenti specific questions. What kind of narrative are they looking for now?

I haven't done a Shell since March and I don't remember them being very different than they've been in the past several months. Are they a nightmare now?

The Plenti promotion has been up for a while now, yet many stations have not gotten up to date. Apparently for many locations, it takes a computer software update to enable the station to receive the Plenti Card.
What I know is this: They shall ask if the attendant asked for a Plenti Card, offered a Plenti Card package kit. ask if the Plenti Card notice is at the counter (how many counters), a decal of it on the pump, and how many dispenser POPs have the Plenti Card advertisement.

It is not difficult, just a wee bit more in which to be cognisant and watchful.
That is a separate shop, usually an ad-on to a regular shop, and paid $5.00 plus reimbursements. I did one and found it to be a pita. I don't think they are offered anymore.

So they want to to buy a bottle or a pack of smokes and leave them behind? Is it to see if someone will chase after you with your purchase?

I have noticed an additional question that is not explained anywhere (that I can find) regarding the DCS (Direct Customer Survey): As you may be aware, many of the stations participate in this program. Typically, the questions asked in the debrief ask (paraphrasing):

1) Is the survey printed on the back of the gasoline receipt?
2) Is the survey printed on the back of the shop receipt?
3) Is there a survey notice at the counter inside the shop?
4) Is the survey decal on the dispenser in which you used?
5) None of the above.

The debrief requires a photo of the back of each receipt with the visit number written upon each.

Now a fifth question is asked: Can you go online to complete the survey?

I'm not certain if it wants you (the auditor) to go online for each shop or some other manner in order to ascertain if the questionairre is available.

It seems redundant and rather unnecessary. As i mentioned, I've not found any explanation of the question.

I haven't come across that question yet. Have you called the MSC?

I haven't contacted them yet.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the "Synergy" look.
