My Sassie Rover app went crazy today as I was completing the audit - can I recover?

I was literally on my last few items - checking for energy efficiency labels when Rover shut down my iPad. Every time I try to get back in the audit it creates a blank audit. 6.5 hours of work. GONE. Has this happened to anyone else and did you find a way to get it back?

Is it no longer showing in your "In Protess" folder? I've never experienced anything like that on my Samsung Tab!
Really sorry to hear this. Did you have "work online" unchecked?

A small consolation is that the picture are still on your tablet somewhere. Check your photo gallery (or whatever the iPad version is).

It's not on any App Store - you have to disable the setting that allows you to download those apps that aren't on the store. The reason is that when updates have to be added to it, the store can take 2-3 months, when it needs to be available in 2-3 hours or days. Once you're assigned a shop, you open the form and find the hotlink to access the app - Sassie Rover App. Once you download it, access the guidelines, watch the video, and pass the quiz, then you are given the password to the app and can sync the audit form to your device. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. I do a lot of these audits and feel they pay well for my area. I've met some awesome people, too!
Lisa what you are saying is not true at all. updates through the app store can be pushed through anytime they want. There are many apps that send updates at least once a week and one app I use sometimes sends updates more than once a day.

Lisa, yes when it started acting crazy I quickly enabled wifi on both sides. Christine - do you think? I don't see them in my regular camera roll...
Sorry, techman01 - that's what the Project Manager told us on the conference call when the project first started. My bad - thanks for the correction.
Yes, of course they would. The msc is currently a disaster(I dont say that ever). Every project recently has had major issues with incorrect forms, incorrect scenarios and I could go on. Their current cell phone audit form is setup incorrectly. Since some of the long time people left recently, it's been chaos. It's as if they either dont care anymore or are just truly clueless.

You must not have been with GFK long. Schedulers come and go more quickly there than anywhere, hahahahaha. But in this case techman was talking about a couple people in management.

I personally decline to use the Rover app. I use my trusty Canon PowerShot camera. I know how it works. I know where the photos are (on and SD card). MAYBE Rover is faster when it works, but for me, at least for now, it is just too risky. I am not disparaging those who like it. I like my Samsung S4 phone, and I have even begun to use the iSecret shop app, but only for parts of those reports (the essays are just too painful to do on a cell phone screen, but other parts are much easier and uploading photos directly guarantees retention of all the metadata). But for me, for now, reading all of the comments, Rover is not for me.

Maryserv, I don't know file management for iOS, but the photos should be on your iPad. I hope you were able to contact the MSC and get things resolved. When you log in in the store, I would make sure "work offline" is checked. That way, the form is saved to your tablet. When you are ready to upload, you can change the setting and then upload the form.
is this theGFK cock-up/clusterf#@$ that some long-winded person from GFK emailed me about a few days ago?
