I need some direction please

This is the first time I am posting. This is a request for some assistance.

I have performed a shop for a company, fast food shop. I followed the directions completely. I have done numerous other shops as well and have had no issues. For this last shop I was asked to provide more information about the shop. I provided this information. They said that I did not follow the guidelines as to the timings and reminded me of the timiing points. These were the timing points that I did and the timing points I recorded. So I am not sure where the error was. I now have an "infraction" on my account, but I did the correct timings. Any advice on how to address this?

The company is still going to pay the shop, which, at this point in time is not my concern. I just don't understand what I did wrong????

Any help or insite would be greatly apprectiated.

did you try writing back and specifically list the timings

listing what the directions say
IE got into the shortest line 08:00 13
given total 08:01 15
handed food 08:02 02

(or the elapsed time version)
Yes I did explain this. They said that what I said was different then what I reported. I reported the same thing I e-mailed them. There was an issue in the shop that I reported. I am wondering if that is why they would not like the shop and want to question it. I am just lost. I am reticent about doing another shop until I figure out what went wrong here.
Call and talk to your scheduler.

Did you save a pdf of exactly what the shop was that you submitted? We all can make typos such that, for example, the food could have been presented at 08:20:02. If this is the company I think it likely is, they do take the stance that if you make one typo that you didn't catch, how many other typos are there in your work.
Thank you for your feedback. I went back and checked my timing and they are the same on both the second time I sent them in and on the copy that I originally submitted. No typos.

I will try calling my scheduler. Have left a message.

Thanks
Ok ... now I must admit I am even more confused. I have just received correspondance from this company that I am doing a great job and that there are several bonused shops that they would like me to do.

I suppose I am worring to much about this one sticky point and perhaps I should move on. I just don't want to do it wrong again. Maybe I am a perfectionist, but I like to do things correctly.

This company has acted very professionally with me, and I believe I have also been equally professional.

Thanks
I would go with Northwest

Seriously, it sounds like the "other" company that does those shops. They question every single timing if it is out of scope. Always.

If you gave them elapsed timing instead of exact timing, they can guess the wrong customer as the shopper. If the shop went south, the manager will pick it apart and look for a reason to get it rejected. Make note of what you wore and where you sat. I have had to explain where I sat in the dining room from an email from the help desk to clear up who I was.

This exact same thing happened to me. And the cashier/server at the DT took for.ev.er! -- 16 minutes. So they didn't like the bad report, and tried to find whatever they could to discredit me. I never did that shop again, and now I don't even work for that MSC. I can't be sensitive while doing MS; I save that for my off-work persona. That's learned behavior for me, definitely.
I refuse to do any shops anymore where you have to wear a stopwatch because how exactly are you suppose to accurately give a time when you're NOT suppose to write it down and you're interacting with 3-4 different people? I had one report refused because they didn't think my times were right. I asked them how I was suppose to be that detailed when they're talking to me and I CAN'T write it down and I can't give away who I am. It's so stupid! If they want exact times down to the second someone from the company can review the video tape from the cameras & do it themselves! They put too much on us shoppers and try to find any excuse to reject our reports.
Thousands of shoppers manage timings. There are several methods including using an audio recorder as long as you are not in one of the 14 states that prohibit recording. Even in those states some shoppers set the mic to only pick up their voice and not anyone else around.
