What do you have to order for a Sonic breakfast or dinner shop?

If you do a breakfast or dinner Drive-Thru, what must you order? What are your choices?

You must order an entree, a side, and a beverage, following a specific list of allowable choices listed in the guidelines.
I know that. winking smiley What specifically? The only way I can see the guidelines are if I accept the shop. I don't want to accept and then cancel. So I want to know exactly beforehand. Thank you.

To my mind, specifically quoting the guidelines would be a ICA violation. In addition, the requirements change periodically. I would suggest you accept find something that you can eat. There are a lot of choices listed. If you can't find something you like out of all those choices, canceling might be the best option for you.
Because you posted on another thread about McDonald's shop fees, I am guessing you have done McDonald's shops. The Sonic shop guidelines are very similar with respect to the long list of allowable items. If you have ever been to Sonic, and if there are any items that you like there, you should be able to find something you are willing to eat.
How about this, what would YOU typically get if you went to Sonic's for breakfast?

I've never eaten at a Sonic. From info about Sonic on this board, you can't get all 3 items for under $5.80, right?

For breakfast I think most things come out under the reimbursement. For lunch and dinner shops I think the only thing that comes out under reimbursement is a regular chili cheese dog. Also there are no special orders for Sonic (which I'm guessing is what you might want to know).

That's for the lunch / dinner items (burgers, hot dogs, etc.). The breakfast choice in my area has ALWAYS been within the $5.80 reimbursement. Regardless, the drive-thru shops are the easiest to do of the fast food shops anyways. No time spent on-site other than ordering, paying and getting your food.

Think of all other fast food breakfast.... It's pretty similar. So how about this, what do you typically get at another fast food chain for breakfast? If it's a breakfast sandwich (bread, egg, meat and cheese), a side (tots, fries, etc.) and a drink (coffee, soda, etc.), you'll likely find something you'd like at Sonic's.

I easily eat breakfast for less than $5.80. There are items you can order for lunch and dinner that will bring you in under $5.80. For example, sometimes I order a Strawberry Shake as my beverage, simply because I WANT one, knowing I will go over the $5.80. I suggest you google the Sonic menu and see exactly what Sonic offers.

Google is easy. Google can be your friend.

Prices vary according to location, so if you see items you might like when you google the menu, drive by a Sonic and look at the prices if it is important to be able to stay within the 5.80 reimbursement amount.

I learned the hard way that available items also vary by location. Just because it's on a generic website menu or on the MSC's accepted list doesn't mean it's available at every store. If you order something that's not listed on the menu board of the restaurant you're shopping, they WILL make it, but it will be considered a special order by the MSC and your shop WILL be declined.
