drug testing for auditing jobs at best buy

Something not mentioned in this thread, when the MSC had this client before they required auditors sign in and out and report the time on site. Naturally most auditors became much more efficient which drastically reduced the time. After all, isn't that the whole idea of performing any audit or shop over and over, to become more efficient and increase your net hourly income? As a reward for our efficiency, the MSC reworked the pay which resulted in most stores getting reduced. The excuse was the audits were not taking as long as the MSC originally anticipated. Right there they were exercising control over our hourly net. From what I recall, several of my stores were supposed to drop as much as $40 which would have been a $4/hour decrease. Possibly more since they frequently added requirements to the point they were telling us which order we had to complete each component. With every one of those changes, time was added.

Very well put, Lisa! I agree 100%. smiling smiley

I haven't done the Best Buy audits, but I did do the customer surveys which was also independent contracting work. I was not required to be drug tested. That makes me wonder if the drug testing requirement for the audits is the mystery shopping company's requirement and not Best Buy's requirement.

Customer exit surveys are normally performed outside the store or near the entrance. Auditors access every part of the store, including the employee only areas, as well as the computer system.

Drug testing is a joke, so many ways to cheat the test and people do it every day. They can also read your prescription drugs from those drug test, it's not just illegal drugs they're looking at.
I have been denied many things and jobs due to my daily need for a particular drug, side effects read "it might cause drowsiness." How can a drowsy person evaluate appropriately. What that drug test didn't show them is I also have a syndrome that constantly releases Adrenaline. So one takes over and get my life taken care of while the other is only a "might" and never happens to me.
So don't fool yourself that you have nothing to worry about unless you take absolutely no prescriptions and or illegal drugs.
I take 6 prescription drugs, 3 of which are known to "cause drowsiness". I have been tested nearly as much as a Tour de France cyclist and passed every one.

I have NO POSSIBLE CLUE how anyone can do these in 5 hours, let alone 2-1/2! If anyone reading this would PM me with hints, tips, and tricks, I would happily accept them. I might even "buy" you lunch - as a shop, of course!
