Not being paid for my phone shops

I did a number of phone shops for Bestmark. To my knowledge I did not receive a check for the work I did. They said I did, but I didn't get the check. Its their word against mine. What am I supposed to do?

Just a guess here, but is BestMark one of those companies that automatically updates shop status to 'Paid' as soon as a check goes out? I'm wondering if it might not just be a misunderstanding.
I will say that in paying closer attention to status and comments that I've seen several companies mark a shop as paid and then the date is in the future. I've got a few of those right now. One says paid on August 20. In other words, it's scheduled to be in the mail. :}
I would give it about 10 days from the "check processed" date and then contact them. Bestmark is pretty good about working with it's shoppers. They'll probably tell you that you can either pay their bank's check-cancel fee and have it reissued or you can wait for it to expire and have it reissued. Either way, anyone I've dealt with over there has been very nice and totally willing to do the research/explaining necessary to resolve my issues.

I think I'd ask again politely before I "demanded" anything. "Demand" is confrontational.
