To many shoppers not enough shops?

Wherever you are, do you find that you have to many shops and not enough shoppers? OR, do you have to many shoppers and not enough shops? In my world ... to many shoppers. I got the email for the shipping shops and within 15 minutes of it arriving everyone in a 30 mile range was taken.. that is not one or two shops either. I figure someone planned a route.

There are separate issues here. Just because there were no shops left when you got the email tells you little. It is not unusual for me to go clean off the boards of a couple of MSCs and a day or two later get the emails that the shops have been posted. If you are thinking SASSIE companies, the shops show up on Jobslinger pretty much when they post so are going to be picked through by folks watching Jobslinger long before global emails go out and definitely before more targeted emails go out. So you may not have too many shoppers but rather they are more fleet of keyboard to go snag work.

It is almost midnight on Saturday night in my time zone. A particular company usually posts just past midnight. I will be there in case there is anything interesting. The emails that shops are posted will be out Monday afternoon. The particular shop I am looking for I will be entering the report for at about the time that the shop announcement email comes out. At the same time there will be worthless shops (to me) posted and those I will probably pick up at the end of the month with bonuses. A 'sure indication' that there are 'too many shops and not enough shoppers'? Nope. They are just the puppy dogs you need to wait to let grow up to a reasonable fee.
Flash, I never thought of it that way. That is very insightful.

@Flash, how can you see in JobSlinger the main job boards of the various connected companies? I use JobSlingerplus to navigate to the various job boards individually, but don't see a trick where I can either see a job board across sassie companies or know when a job board has been updated. Is there something I am missing??
What Jobslinger does is feed jobs from participating SASSIE companies to its own job board as they post, or at least that is what it used to do. It won't show you the job board of that SASSIE company but rather an announcement of that job
Some Sassie companies push their postings as noticies on Jobslinger. Not all clients are posted, many companies do not post there.

As for the actual jobs, in some cases there are quotas. For example, there might be 20 locations but once a set amount are assigned the rest disappear.

My posts are solely based on my opinions and for my entertainment, contact a professional if you need real advice.

Too many shops here. I delete at least 50-100 emails with shops that I don't want to do every Monday morning.
I only rarely dabble on Jobslinger. I tend to check the sites themselves where I can quickly see all the details without a lot of clicking. As for too many shops or shoppers, I'm not sure. I can tell you that where I am we rarely reach those wonderful bonuses that so many of you talk about so that makes me think we have plenty of shoppers. Every now and then a shop will hang around for a while, but it takes quite a while before it gets significantly bonused.

Not sure I quite understand this statement. Could you please expand for me (my mind can not grasp everything and I am still trying to wake it up this AM smiling smiley ) Thanks!

There are wayyyyyy more shops here than there are shoppers. I usually restrict my shops to a 20 mile radius and sometimes expand it to a 35 mile radius for some high paying shops. That is still north of downtown. I usually get roughly 100+ emails a day. About 60 of those could be repeat emails and the other 40 are new shops. I am signed up with approx 150 companies. Shops have been passed to me from a couple local shoppers and vice versa. It is not a problem although I know that "prime" shops are kept.
Hope that helps some.

I feel super lucky in that I believe I'm the only shopper in my area. I can pick up whatever shops I want, wait to think about them, wait until I know for sure I have time, or wait until they are bonused. The only shop that was gone when I went to grab it was the wings shop when my husband and I wanted dinner one night. I figured another shopper must have been passing through town and picked it up because I really don't think there is anyone else around me. So in reality, there are more shops than shoppers here. Some shops that I don't want to do just sit open.

Simple. In my area some companies offer only a handful of shops and others offer only a couple of interesting ones. Having a good idea when they post, I get in and self assign what I want. In some cases that is everything they offer while in others it is the decently paying shops.
Sadly, I think there are more shoppers here than shops. If I wanted to go to Chicago everyday I could load up. But, I am to far away for that. I know I met someone here about 18 months ago that traveled right up into my area and we both applied for the same shops! I am not sure that person is still here any longer. But, I had a scheduler tell me when a shop comes out every month. I go on that date and it is always gone. LOL. Oh well, they may need the money more than I do, Doubtful, but I tell myself that, lol.I need a nap!

Here in the big city there are too many shoppers that want the shops I also want and too few shoppers who want the ones I am not interested in. But what is interesting is that some months multiple locations might disappear quickly from the job boards and the next month they sit there for a while. Some of this is due to rotation but methinks here in the big city there have got to be more than a couple of people signed on to each company.
