Has any one been over the Remibursument

Today I picked up an lunch MS at the last minute. I have done MS for this company a few times.. I always get the same thing but Today I wanted to try something different. My Remib limit was $ 7 but I spent 7.86 after taxes

.86 is not that much and I am not going to sweat it smiling smiley My question is will I get the full $7.00 plus my shop fee? Also has any one gone over their remibursment fee? Also will this effect my grade any?

Thanks..

If your report is accepted by the MSC and the client, you will be paid the shop fee and the max reimbursement. Some companies expect and encourage you to go over the reimbursement amount (more $ in the pocket of the client) while other MSCs frown on it. When in doubt, refer to your guidelines and /or contact your scheduler.
Thanks Sybil

I guess I will find out in a couple of days smiling smiley This is the 1st time that this has happen so we will see smiling smiley
I routinely spend over the maximum reimbursement to get maximum benefit of the shop. I have never had any issues with it. It irks me to see a $10 reimbursement and only spend $8 of it. The potential benefit/value of the shop has been reduced by $2.
Yep. I did an adult toy store shop today and spent $4 over the reimbursement!

I don't know that I've ever encountered a situation where an MSC didn't want you to max the reimbursement except perhaps in fine dining when they tell you not to order the lobster or most expensive items on the menu. Could you elaborate Sybil? Was this in the guidelines? I am like Flash and pretty much always get as close to the maximum reimbursement or go over. I hope I'm not upsetting any companies by doing this.

Yes, it is written in the guidelines. But I mainly do high-end and very high-end dining shops. I do not do FF. Yes, I am a food snob.

I thought that was supposed to be LisaSTL's B-day present!
And your point is......?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.
