How long does it take for a new shopper to get a assignment

The job board is for schedulers to post available jobs - not for people to ask for them. This is being moved to another part of the forum.

After you register with companies and give your personal information and Social Security number, and you sign their Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA), you will be able to search their job boards to apply for shops. Some will also send e-mails where shops are available in your area. How long it takes to get an assignment varies. It depends on how long it takes you to register and to start applying for assignments.

Hereford, the fastest way is to pick up a shop that others have left behind. It usually will not be the best shop (which is why more experienced shoppers didn't take it), but it gives you an opportunity to show what you can do. I recommend signing up with a scheduling company first -- that gives you access to many different mystery shopping companies at once. What helped me when I first started out was to get MSPA silver certified. After I did that I got a few more jobs, and then after a couple of months, I got Gold MSPA certified and I had so many shops to do that I was leaving the house at 7 am and not returning until 7 pm. I am just getting back into mystery shopping after 10 years and I am busy. Mainly, just 4 companies keeping me busy. However, I live in an area that I am an hour to an hour and a half away to 5 relatively good size cities and then there is the shops in the boonies that no one else would want. I love doing those, if I can plan a route.
