Am I reading too much into the Job Listings?

Here's a weird question:

When I get shop emails from certain schedulers or MSCs (I think they're Sassie companies), I've noticed that the list of cities in each state are either all caps or regular font. So, for example

*CA : ANYTOWN, Anytown, BEACHVILLE, Beachville, HILLSDALE, and Hillsdale.

Anyone know what the difference is? I was thinking maybe the capitalized cities are more urgent for some reason, and maybe I could demand higher bonuses for those. smiling smiley

I just picked one up that was the only capitalized one in the bunch. It had a bonus on it from last month. The confirmation email, however, did not. I've emailed the scheduler (who, unfortunately, has proven in the past to be a complete ass) in an attempt to claim the bonus. But, to answer your question, I think they're different and I would ask for a bonus if you're going to complete them in the next few days.
I think it is merely how whoever loaded the shops into Sassie input them. IE if I input the ones for Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and Orlando and you input the ones for JACKSONVILLE and TAMPA they would show up that way.

It is my understanding that ANYTOWN or just CA. usually means it's a phone shop that can be placed in your own state or the state mentioned. As example, I received shops for a state 1,000 miles away. I asked the scheduler and she said it was phone shops and you could live in your present state and call for this particular client. I did not read much more into it so I have no further specifics on how to perform the shop or other information but I had wondered why I was getting shop notifications for 1,000+ miles away.
Anytown , CA with one MSP is a kinda cool mail order shop I do from the other side of the country.

Sorry! Anytown was a bad example. I just was trying to come up with generic city names. My question was about the capitalization, not an actual job with "Anytown" listed.

No problem smiling smiley The cities were like ANY City, Minn (Minnesota) as example. I wondered why I kept getting Minn shops so I asked. She said they were phone shops smiling smiley I guess I would have to pretend to be living in Minn or maybe not? lol
Some require you to live in the state you're calling, some you simply need a phone number from that state you can use, some don't matter. The exceptipn is NV - even phone shops there require a PI license. You just need to read the guidelines, and it should specify. If not, call/e-mail the scheduler.
