I tried to see if this was already posted on here but could not find anything...
I was wondering if you had done the Sub Sandwich shop with the Golden Ticket, where the associates are rewarded a gift card (you just give them the paper ticket) and get the names of everyone...
I had one scheduled in July. Before the date though, I got a message that the company was suspending the visits. I am in Canada, by the way, so maybe it was different in the states. I was disappointed because I thought it would be fun to reward employees for doing well, and I love those subs.
I did these with the previous company that had them a few months ago and in only select states, and I didn't mind them once in a while. I normally don't do reveal shops, but the employees almost always offered the combo and got the reward...and the sandwich was worth it. They paid reasonably too. I don't feel the pay with the new company is proportionate, though, so I haven't picked up any with them. I am surprised they haven't gotten bonused yet (in my area anyway) and are still sitting at $4...usually this company increases the bonus/fee more quickly than this.
Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013
I remember also doing this client for another MSC. There was no golden ticket and no reveal. Pretty easy shop. Check the usual (gloves, name tags, hats, apron) check the chip displays and then eat my sandwich. I liked that one and used to do that shop along with the others to round things out.
I prefer the revealed. However, the two that I did this week paid $4 and reimbursement of up to $8. In one shop, I gave $80 in gift cards. I only did these for the food, was already in the city and I had not done them before. I will be hungry before I do another one.
