Walking on air....

I received this shop review from a notoriously picky MSC today: "Thank you for your hard work performing this shop and completing the report. The information you provided in this report will be beneficial to our client. Your dedication and hard work is appreciated, and the details you provided were great! You did a wonderful job. Thank you again for your dedication and time spent. I look forward to editing for you again!"

Even if it's canned, it made me happy.

Even if it's canned, they reached out and said something encouraging. Kudos to you on a good job and kudos to them for appreciating you.

I give this thank you message an 8/10
Dear Editor:
Your response contained repetitive sentences. In the future, please do not repeat phrases that mean the same thing such as "Thank you for your hard work performing this shop ..." and "Your dedication and hard work is appreciated...". Additionally, the message appears to have been copy/pasted from a list of pre-written responses. Please write original responses to the shoppers in the future. They rely on your careful review and clear feedback about the reports they provide.

Seriously, though, kudos!

I would have been walking on air too! A little Kudos goes a long way.

It's always nice to get appreciation like that. smiling smiley Some of the schedulers with whom I've worked closely mailed me a Thank You letter over the summer....it was a nice surprise, as up until then, I'd only been thanked by e-mail and/or when I was talking to them on the phone.
