It says I have 1 "OPPS", but I can't find it, nor will it go there--HELP please

I have completed a shop for Intellishop, and have entered all the information. The system keeps telling me I have one error, but none show up on the input forum. When I click on jump to first OPPS, nothing happens. I've tried this on two different browsers with the same results. There is a requirement to wait 48 hours after the shop for a follow up phone call from the automobile service advisor--it is past the 48 hours (but not by much). Also, as I'm inputting, the form is doing strange stuff-for example in one spot where I was to time something, the time comes out to a little over 5 minutes--I enter that, the the form brings up a text area for me to explain why it took over 15 minutes. I put N/A or similar in the box--save the results, then next time I look, that box is either gone, or appears again, but without my text. I've now sent Intellishop 2 e-mails asking for help, with no response. Any ideas?? The shop is now a day past due (since I had to wait for the follow up call). Thanks in advance.

If this report is on Sassie: Did you Geoverify? Did you include all images? How long is your narrative?

?

Hi Shop. Yes, it's Sassie. I did do a Geoverify, but the form has no place to enter it. All images are included, and there are only a few areas for narrative. I could try to lengthen the shorter ones, but none are flagged as too brief.
Had the same problem. Try using "05" minutes instead of just "5"; then hit save. Also, I've found when I've made corrections, sometimes it deletes the photos -- I don't know why. But if you hit save for later, then go right back in and check to see if the "05" stayed. But I freely admit I am tech challenged.
Fortunately, the very experienced shoppers will see this. If there is more information, they will share it with you.

Good luck!

1. Double-check one more time just to make absolutely sure you really entered 5.

2. Make sure that you do not have the same form open in more than one tab. (Not only have I done this, but I've even saved the wrong one accidentally and had to re-do the whole thing. Oops!)

3. Double-check your entry and exit times. I don't think this is what's causing the problem, but it couldn't hurt.

4. After hitting save, make sure that your screen is showing some kind of confirmation that you saved. (You will probably be taken to a different URL.) If the connection is being interrupted, that could cause the loss of data you're describing.

5. If you have not done so already, e-mail the scheduler ASAP to let them know what the problem is and that you are actively working on solving it. Check your Sent Mail folder to make sure that it went through.

6. Look on the form to see if you didn't accidentally the wrong number into a different section, perhaps another timing one. You might have entered it into the wrong place, or perhaps there is some kind of programming issue. Perhaps you added or subtracted incorrectly at one point, so check again to see if you did that. You might also be misinterpreting which timing they want you to explain--I had that happen a couple of times when I was in a rush and fairly new to the system.

7. If this fails, wait at least an hour or two and try again later. Sometimes a site undergoes maintenance, especially late at night, and this can cause the programming to act funny.

8. If you solve the problem yourself and are able to submit the form, contact scheduler to let them know that you have resolved it. Apologize for any inconvenience. You may also want to contact Technical Support for the MSC if it does turn out to be something on their end.

Edit: Oh, and if there was a recorded call....did that go on longer than 15 minutes, by any chance?

Oh, yeah! It could be that you need a 0, too. As for it deleting loaded images....I've experienced that happening, too. Not sure what caused that, though the scheduler said that it does happen sometimes. That be an issue for the programmers.
Just hit submit and save. Your report is still open for 48 hours. You are waiting for the phone call. Return to the report in 48 hours and answer whether the associate called you or not. If after 48 hours, you might want to check your time you entered for the report smiling smiley
Sounds like issues with their website and form. I would try saving what you've got (if the 05 solution doesn't work), close the browser, open a new one and log in again. I would definitely email the scheduler about the issues you're having.

Dear Lord what are all of you doing up in the middle of the night?
I naturally wake up around 5-5:30 a.m. but I think you mean those who are writing at 2 a.m.? Hopefully, I am asleep by then smiling smiley
I remember that this happened to me once and it took a while to figure out. Unfortunately, I don't remember what exactly the problem was. Definitely make sure you put leading zeroes on your minutes, as well as seconds afterwards. You may need to enter 05:00 for 5 minutes. I have a sneaking suspicion that I had some unusual characters in one of my fields that needed to be removed. Maybe a $ sign in a cost field or a % in a comment somewhere. Some programs get confused if there are any special characters in a narrative. confused smiley

The shop date might appear to be filled in, in light gray type, but you have to click on the calendar and select it. The type changes to black and the system accepts it as filled in.
Hi all. Thank you for all your suggestions--they were much appreciated.

The scheduler responded to my e-mail, and said there was one section of the report that had the "Opps", and it's where I identify the type of service appointment I had made. (This was an automobile service shop, and there's a section in the report about whether I had made an appointment or had used the dealers "Express Service"winking smiley. When originally filling out the report, I had mistakenly selected Express Service. I think (I don't remember exactly) a narrative window opened asking something that didn't make sense. I may have typed N/A in it, then saved the report--I'm not really sure, it was a couple weeks ago. Next time I opened the report, I corrected the Express Service to show I had made an appointment. The narrative box disappeared, and I went happily on my way completing the shop.

Apparently something in that narrative box was the problem, but it remained hidden from me. The system would not allow me to change my selection back to Express Service so I could see whatever the issue was. The helpful scheduler pointed me to the error section, but I still couldn't see the "Opps" nor correct it. After another e-mail exchange, the scheduler marked the report as completed, and notated to the editors that the system prevented me from fixing the error.

So bottom line--I still don't really know what happened, nor what I did wrong. But the report is now in the hands of the editors, and hopefully will be accepted! I'm the type that likes to dig deep into detail, so it's still frustrating that I don't really know what happened! But onward, as they say.

Again, thanks for all the suggestions and comments. Doesn't everyone enter their reports and read the forum at 2 or 3 AM??? smiling smiley

Correct me if I am wrong, but 5 minutes should be written as ---------> 00:05 smiling smiley I think they way you, (IPS) make it look like, 5 hours or five 'o' clock.

Sometimes--->"SAVE for later", does not save photos. Your photos have to be uploaded againsmiling smiley

I had just reviewed a shop I did for them earlier this year (I always save the report for reference). It asks how long the time spent was. It gives the following format: mm:ss. I'm not sure what the point of measuring the length of your visit down to the second for an auto service, but that was what my report had. Sorry, I guess that wasn't clear in my first post. My particular visit dragged on for 85 minutes, ugh! I didn't bother noting the seconds, so I put 85:00. It sure felt like 85 hours, though! Never again.

When you save, it's saved to the MSC's server, so they can retrieve the survey, even if it is only partly done. Signed, Night Owl at 2:02 am.
