Somebody Goofed?

Got an email from one of my MSC's on 3 October for some in-store evaluations for mobile phones sales at some local Target stores.
Had some crazy payment amounts ranging from $31 to $228.
If you went to sign up for them, they listed a flat payment amount AND the crazy amount.
I put in for the $228 one immediately!
Next day, the same message came out with only the low flat payment amount listed for all of them.
My application for the $228 one was not in the system even for the flat amount.

I'm wondering if somebody goofed and mistakenly listed in the amounts the MSC was getting from the client???
