General question about shops

Sometimes a certain large chain will have multiple locations in one town that can be franchises or corporate owned stores. Some are managed by one company while others are managed by another entirely or independently owned. Not all will participate in the MS program as they are all managed differently.
Other times, a location may be locked into a lease but not really expect much out of the store. A grocery store back home had an older location about 3/4 miles from their newer location. I saw the newer location get renovated twice in the 8 years or so I lived there while the older store got worse and worse, waiting for their lease to end. They never had new items and had few employees working. I would go there only when I was in a hurry and needed one item and didn't feel like fighting the crowds in the newer, nicer store. They finally closed down and I believe the location is still vacant to this day.

In the last few months we had a couple of BIG grocery stores but smaller in size open up in my town. I tend to stay away from this place when we do our shopping. I just hope that these grocery stores don't close the other ones down 
Some people like this place and some people don't. Where we do most of our shopping. we are in and out about 45 minutes or so and that includes talking to most of the staff and the chip guy when he is there

As long as I am able to shop theses locations when I see them and I am able to grab them I am happy My kids love pizza!!!!!!!

Ahhhh, I guess I skimmed your question and I apologize. I see what you are asking now. I know with good ol' MF, my rotation of shopping the same location makes it where only some locations are visible to me at one time. But Flash probably has it correct with the company doing their own rotation.
