That's a LOT of food and a low fee....for this certain new company for the Arches.....

They have an arches shop [different MSC] ...(and you have to order LARGE Big Mac Meal and Breakfast Burrito Meal THEN you have to go to the Drive Thru and order a 10 pc Chicken Nuggets, Medium Drink and a Breakfast Sandwich. So you have to order 3 meals. All for $6 bucks fee. tongue sticking out smiley (of course, you get reimbursed for all the food) and you are also looking for POP signs. This is a different company offering this and it's for one day only and certain times.....yikes...

Just all the soda alone is enough to give you diabetes. tongue sticking out smiley I'm kind of speechless at it. I generally throw out fast food after taking a bite to evaluate it but i think I'll just steer clear of those. They are probably some college students dream come true.
In my area they have a $10 pop audit, requires pictures inside the restaurant which could lead to a reveal. Plus lunchtime breakfast meal inside and a drive thru that only requires one item minimum, food reimbursed. The potential reveal is my concern. I've taken pics before and never been bothered nor had someone at a later date remember me.

Sounds like a shop for a family that has no regards to their health, and doesn't feel like cooking that day.
We have the POP audit around here that isaiah58 describes. I can't see doing a revealed shop for $10 somewhere I get nice bonuses for mystery shops. It seems awkward, too, to buy a meal, present a letter, and take photos before eating your meal (if you were planning to.)
It seems like a massive amount of food to order. I wonder why so much needs to be ordered? Certainly your typical customer is not going to order like that. In my humble opinion, the secret to mystery shopping, (to me) is not standing out and this much food seems off.... unless you have an army of kids outside....plus you are going through the drive thru too....

The fee is broken down into $3 walk-in and $3 drive thru for all you do... tongue sticking out smiley
The particular items and sizes must have game pieces attached to them, and they want to see if you are given the correct pieces.
It's not new. The company you are talking about has been doing them for years. It's just very sporadic and only certain locations get shopped. I did them last year when they were looking for certain POP and packaging materials for their chicken wraps. The year before it was some of their sandwiches. I opted out this time because the location isn't the one that's close to my house. I have hungry college kids next door I can always give the food to.
isaiah, the one your talking about is a definite reveal. I did one last month and it was simple enough. I just thought it was too much work for the money involved, so I only did a location that was close to home. Some of the locations available are in really crappy neighborhoods so they would have to pay me more for me to go there.
I did three of them in the last few weeks that were looking for the items and packaging to be correctly branded. Multiple items I received were not. No pictures, no reveal. Easy report, mainly radio buttons.

Thanks! What did you do with all that food? smiling smiley
That's assuming that you would eat and drink all of it as opposed to giving it away.

I steer clear of most of the food shops as well, but it's because I don't want my waistline to take the hit.

You don't have to eat any of the food for this one if I remember correctly. It's all questions about packaging and POP.

The first day I did one. I brought it all home. Ate a few nuggets and a McFlurry. Family ate the rest.

Second day a weekish later I took 3 in the end. One was close to work. I did the first shop, took the food back to the track and gave it away after making notes. The remaining two were on my way home. I just collected all of it, ate a few nuggets and 1 McFlurry. Rest my family divvied up and turned into dinner.

I do enough FF shops that it is so not exciting.. but family gets excited until bonus time at the end of the month grinning smiley Then they never want to see FF again.
I got majorly burned on one of those because I checked with the cashier at the drive thru when I didn't get handed my beverage and he told me my shake was in the bag. I got home and it wasn't. I actually did not realize until I went to put in the report and suddenly realized I was one cup short and the location had closed for the night (that is what happens when you do reports late at night). That cost me $22 for food we didn't want to eat plus of course no fee.
In the past, when my kids were still at home, the reimbursed food was useful and appreciated. That's no longer the case. I now do these shops for the fee.

If the entire menu board was an option, it may be different.
Ok, the new one for tomorrow only is on Presto. Too bad the purchase requirements prevent us from combining shops. I look forward to those that did these to report their experience including the report complexity.
