Shadowshoppers

Has anyone worked for Shadowshopper? I work for several companies, but never this one. Does anyone know what the deal is with them? They email me alot,but they want me to pay. I have never paid one dime for any job,not even mystery shopping jobs. Now they are offering a free trial. Pls fill me in!!! THANKS!

ShadowShopper is just a referral service. You pay them a fee, they send you notices of jobs available in your area.

A free trial is good but just make sure you cancel it in plenty of time before the end of the trial period. They have an ugly reputation for processing the payment for your paid subscription a mite early and it is non-refundable.

I didn't find their free subscription useful and I passed on the free trial. However, I did opt in for JobSlinger's free trial to JobSlinger Plus, and for me, this one has indeed helped me out. I'm not sure if I'll continue past the free trial, but it's certainly introduced me to new companies and jobs thus far.

I did both. I found both helpful. I have paid neither, except 4.00 for a trial of SS gold. I got some work that paid me VERY well from both. Trials ran out, and I put the toys away.

To be honest shadowshoppers is what really introduced me to this business. Even though now I am signed up with almost 50 companies, I like that they constantly email me about jobs in my area. It helps that my city is midsize and not a major city, so anyway I can find out about new assignments in my area is worth it.

I also get emails and calls from time to time from people looking for shoppers or merchandisers in my area.

So to me the money I pay every 3 months is worth it.

I can see how it is not worth it to others though.
