USPS shop help

I did a USPS regular box shop on 11/6. For a long time it sat pending approval. Last week, I logged in and it says HOLD Pay and you scroll over the hold pay it says "This survey has been put on hold please contact us." No contact info. So I sent an email to the scheduler and cc'd the person from the MSC who pays for the shops, the email is in the paypal info. I have not heard anything back. If they need me to contact them, I did, but I have no response from anyone. Also, it would have been helpful to have a contact method, email or phone number when it says PLEASE contact us. Anyone else has this issue and know who to contact??

This happened to mine and some other shoppers last week (you can find it discussed on the last page of "When the USPS Changes from *Company X* to *Company Y* "thread.) I know mine are all now OK for Pay or Pending Verification. I think I got a generic email last week apologising for the confusion and saying there weren't problems with the shops but I must have thrown it away by accident.

Might have you missed an email from a verifier? I got one a few days ago from a verifier due to a mixup they made.

I just got one today from the scheduler for my last shop. I did the DIM weight shop and the clerk never measured my box so it got only cost me $15 to ship 8 zones instead of $48. I am hoping they accept it. I took a photo of the box sitting in a chair to show the actual size before I left for the post office.
If you bought a box, then the size of the box (or a UPC traceable to the box size) is on the receipt. I had this happen a number of times with the old MSC and always got paid. I had it happen last week with the new MSC. This is exactly what they are trying to find out. Did the clerk measure the box if it is going to Zone 5 or higher and weighs less than 5 pounds? 9of course, it has to be bigger than 12" in one dimension, and all of the approved box sizes should trigger measurement. I have also had clerks who don't measure the box correctly - interesting that it always ends up bigger, not smaller - and the price goes up even more. That is another reason why I like using the 15x12x10 box. For just over 4 lbs to Zone 5, about $16 if they don't measure it, $24.95 if they do measure it correctly.

I too was paid when my box was not measured. I just reported it (to the old company) and they paid me. My only issue was that I had two jobs that day, one to zone 7 within the reimbursement and one to my son in zone 8 where the shipping was going to be somewhat out of pocket above the reimbursement. I kicked myself when the box which got sent as a regular sized box for less money happened to be the one to zone 7. Oh well, my son was worth the extra dollars I had to shell out. And yes, the receipt I sent in was the proof of my box size.
This is driving us crazy as well. We are trying to get Shopmetrics to change the wording. "Hold Pay" doesn't mean that your shop was wrong, it's essentially saying "Holding in a big bucket of shops waiting to be paid". The "contact us" thing doesn't help either. But you're all good!

I had a shop rejected by them because my receipt showed the weight as being 15.90, but when I weighed it at home it was over a pound (just barely). They refused to pay me for the shop. What to do when the weight differs?
Edited to add - I did alert my scheduler who said she would send it to the appropriate people, but never heard back. I see it is still marked as hold pay as of 11/23.

Could you email me directly please? I have no way to look this up from the information provided here. info@summitscheduling.com

I assume that you mean 15.90 ounces. Frankly, scales differ and in this case, the Post Office is always right. I personally always stay at least two ounces over the minimum and at least two ounces below the maximum when weighing things at home. If you knew that it was "barely" over a pound, my advice (had you asked in advance) would have been to add something else. The current guidelines say to try to be in the middle of the 1 to 2 pound range because scales differ.

Yes, myst - lesson learned. CHECK your weights first - and I will be sure that it is at least 1 lb. 2 oz. or greater just to be on the safe side!! Thank you!!!
