Did I answer the question? What else could I have said?

It was a "comment box" for the needs assessment section and this is how I answered. ..

The associate asked numerous questions about the capacity, brand and type of hot water heater I currently had. The associate asked how many people usually showered in the morning and how many loads of laundry I did in a row.

I then get this. ..........
Q7 says that the associate asked questions to understand the scope of your project. Please provide 2-3 sentences explaining the kinds of questions the associate asked. Then resubmit ASAP.

I am just confused by this question from the editor. Is it me? Am I really that brain dead tonight?

No, you're not brain dead, it's not you, and you answered the question. But -- I think something like this is more what they want.

"The associate asked the capacity of the hot water heater I have now and whether I run out of hot water frequently. The associate also asked how many people live in the house and whether we have a hot water problem when guests visit. Another question was what brand hot water heater I have and whether it is electric, gas, or propane. Also, the associate asked if gas or propane, whether I have an electric start on the heater. The associate also asked how many people shower in the morning and how many loads of laundry I usually do in a row."

That's not any different from the answer you gave but it is a little more specific.

I did the same shop as luckygirl and had the same problem. I tried to correct it but to no avail. A very helpful scheduler helped me fill in the answer in the way that it would be accepted. I think I'll print out your response Mary and keep it on file for future reference. I guess I don't have the hang of writing acceptable narratives yet. This is the same MSC that has all those new editors that are trying to make an impression. I know it is in my best interest to play the game the way they want.
This sounds like the shop that wants the Shopper to assess 5 different criteria's for there shops. When the other MSC had there shops, the shopper would get a scenario about how all the Mission statement should be answered. The OP answered the questions using generality subject matter. The Client is more interested in the depth of his Employees fulfilling there Mission statement. I, too had a report return, until I learned how to used the Mission procedure.

Good luck @luckygirl0100, you should get in right now, using the ideas given to yousmiling smileysmiling smiley

BTW, it doesn't matter where this Client "moves", they want the Mission statement adhered tosmiling smileysmiling smiley
My comments were very general because the instructions said 2-3 sentences. ......... I've done VERY detailed narrative before, even having Amusement Advantage give me a perfect score on a water park & roller coaster park assignment.
If you want detail ask for it! And by the way I've done about 40+of these shops with only one hold in the last two years.
I had the same exact thing happen with a home improvement shop. I said the questions they asked and I got the exact same kick back as you did!
The associate first asked me if I knew my current water heaters capacity. Next they asked me what brand it was, followed by asking it it was gas or electric.

I'd assume they also showed you floor models to help determine the height?

I knew my imaginary water heaters capacity when asked. They were surprised it was gas as 99% of water heaters down here are electric. Only people from up north that buy a gas tank and retrofit for gas will have it. Then the associate knew nothing about gas and could not recommend anything for the project. Not even a replacement gas line.
