Bank shops

Would anyone be able to give me a list of places that do bank shops? I've done a few for one company and really enjoyed them. I checked that section of the mystery shop magazine, but it seems at least one of the places mentioned is gone. I also tried searching the forum, but I could only find advice on actually doing them.

It seems as though virtually every MSP has at least a bank or two. When I have searched out of my area on their shop boards I can see banks that aren't in my area. So a list of who does them aside from a few big banks would not be terribly useful. Let me suggest rather that you look at Jobslinger for your area for banks and register with the companies offering them. Thinking about the companies frequently discussed on this forum I know that IPSOS as a bank where you need an account, aTH has a number of banks, etc. etc.

That's really good advise. I have already signed up with as many SASSIE places as I can find, mostly through Jobslinger actually. I'm also signed up with Market Force, Best mark, and MaritzCX. They all have their own systems and I was curious if I was missing a company with their own set up. Also, you're always so helpful and often the first to answer my or other newbie questions. It's much appreciated!

Jobslinger pulls from SASSIE companies, from the job board at Volition.com and from the MSPA job board. There may be additional boards they pull from. You may want to do a 'search' on this forum using 'bank' as a word specifically on our Job Board for all a year or for all dates. You can adjust it to be that specific.

In my area I've only ever seen them with Ath, Sinclair and DSG but I'd be interested in finding more as well.

Pinnacle has credit unions.

I've seen bank shops listed on the Kern board that they have set up on Sassieshop. When you do the report it goes to another site for an MSC since Kern is just the scheduler.

CSE and CEE have bank shops.

Informa Research Services only does banks. They are on Prophet. You can try Confero, Inc. They have bank shops sometimes. They are on Sassie. Bare International and Intellishop have bank shops once in awhile. They are on Sassie.

Tell me what one is required to do in a bank shop. I see them all the time and the pay is great.

They can be as varied as a retail shop: ask a question, get a product or service, or perform a normal interaction like a deposit. My favorite are the ask a question ones. If the bank isn't busy, i can be done in ten minutes!

Informa Research Services, ATH Power, Bare Int'l and Kern are my go-to MSCs for banks.

If you're in Florida, Electrum (formerly CIMA) pays pretty well for onsite and phone shops.

Is there anyone else who has completed Bank shops for Informa but still waiting to be paid for October and November 2015 accounts "to be reviewed and paid because of an end of the quarter delay in processing the checks"?

I did a mystery shop at a credit union for Insightrix. From what I gather, they don't have many mystery shopping assignments. They are mainly surveys. The credit union is the only shop I have done for them.

Yes, I'm waiting on payment for two bank shops from November. I've emailed the scheduler but haven't heard back yet. I thought maybe I cashed the check without recording it, although I usually make copies of all checks received, it is possible I missed one. I was paid for three other shops completed in November, but two have not been paid. I've not experienced a problem in the past with Informa.

I received a response from Dylan Lerner Dlerner@informars.com concerning my payments for Oct-Nov. If you dont get paid within 60 days of completing your shops , he should be able to explain why. In his response to me he said there was an unprecedented delay in the processing of certain banks which caused a delay in checks being mailed within the expected time frame. The information I have after talking to other available people st Informa is that some of their bank clients operate on a quaterly review process, so in essense if the ,"review, approval, and check in the mail time are factors to being paid be prepared to wait at least an extra month after the 60 days window.
