Shopping Apps like Mobee?

Does anybody use "secret shopping apps" like Mobee or Field Agent? Have any luck with them or are they not really worth it?

TIA!

It's probably been about three months since I installed Field Agent and have done a total of two audits for them. On both occasions, I was already in the store when the audit was available so I figured why not. The good part was payment was either same day or next day. However, the prices for the audits are not enough to get me to go to a store to do. Worthwhile to have on your phone if you're shopping in a big box store with some time to kill, but otherwise it is not. Just my opinion.
I find MobiAudit very convenient to submit shops (in whole or in part). This is for shops I've found and been assigned via "regular" methods.

So far, it hasn't found any shops when I have been out in the field, so I have to check to make sure I have all the settings properly filled in.
I used the following apps on my android for the first 9 months of the year and made around 2k.
90% of my earning came from Gigwalk and Easy Shift.

Field Agent: (2 hour reserve time) doing surveys may get you a free product to review.
Gigwalk : once you finally get approved for a shop you can self assign. Easy shops
isecretshop: is a intelli-shop app with more listings.
Easy Shift: (24 hour reserve time) Easy jobs but, competitive in my area
Zappidy (first come) only found a few $4 jobs on Sundays checking Target Demo's
Mobee I have done a few but, you never know the task until you start and several are too much work for little rewards (gift card redemption)
Presto Mobile: choose a area and it maps all shops. Great for finding new MSC's.
Mob Job: 2 months and not a single listing yet

Gigwalk and Easy shift have Facebook pages and the group post when new shops are listed.
I love Field Agent. Quick, reasonable jobs, except for the grocery store audits. Gigwalk is better in more urban areas, very little rural work. Mobee is too labor intensive for the pay I've found. Presto Insta-Shops are a Sassy platform where you have to apply and already be signed up with various MS. I have never found a Presto Instant shop.
I am using Field Agent, Easy Shifts, Zappidy and Gigwalk .

I just installed MobiAudit and created a profile, but it wants something called a "server URL" . Does anybody know what that means? Their FAQs don't tell me how to find it.

MobiAudit is for entering shop info while preforming the shop. The URL is the web address of the MS
Once you have it set up, and your location turned on, MobiAudit will find open shops for you as you travel around.
Field Agent has had a lot of issues. Last 2 I tried to do they had the location off by as much as 30 miles. Also they have jobs at Pathmark which is completely closed as far as I know. About a month ago, I checked the website and they only had 2 locations listed, I checked again last week and they no longer have a website. I know all the ones near me that were not sold were just closed.
it seems like Zappidy site went down: I could not access iot via i-phone. I checked it online the same story...I did two jobs for them recently and they did not paid me..

I have Field Agent & Gigwalk. I find better/more jobs with Gigwalk, but the app constantly gives me problems when taking pictures. I find Field Agent easier to work with, and the pay is usually instant or within a day.
I just started using Mobee but not being able to reserve a shop makes it difficult to use. Can't risk going even a little bit out of my way and to find the task is no longer available when I get there. Am I missing something?
I use them only for stores that I am going to be in anyway. Then, I do a double check when I get there. If the shop is still available, great. If not, no big deal. You definitely can't plan anything around the mobile apps and, even if you could, they certainly don't pay enough to be the main reason for the trip.
I dropped Mobee after first shop: so much things to do with little pay, and they are very picky

Which Presto app is it? The first one I installed (Presto Mobile for iPad) was definitely not right. Does anyone know the name of the company? There are three on there that look like they might be it: Presto! By Virtuality SRL, Presto Mobile by BCD software, and Presto Connect by Collobos. Thanks for the help..
I've been getting points with Mobee over the past few weeks snd have earned some gift certificates. I'm confused about the scavenger hunt coming up next week. Do you earn points for these or is it just a chance to win one of the prizes?

Presto map (aka presto mobile, presto insta-shop) is what I used when I first started completing shops. I mainly used it to find MSC's working in my area to sign up with. This was prior to finding this site.
I use Mobee often! Once you complete a few tasks you learn what they are looking for and how to be discreet taking photos, etc. For new members they give a lot of bonuses after completing a certain number of tasks. You also get nice bonuses for completing shops out of your normal area. Any time you travel over 100 miles from your previous task you could earn a $10 bonus. I use the money I earn from Mobee to pay for my coffee all year!

It would help if you would quote the post you are referring to with your question. I just went through this entire thread and can't figure out the nature of your question.

Are you talking about MobiAudit? Mobi is the mobile app for Shopmetrics MSCs. Mobee is a mobile app where you earn points for doing tasks that you can trade in for gift cards.

For Mobi, the URL is the web address of a shopmetrics platform MSC that you are already signed up with. You will also need to enter the username and password associated with your account for that MSC.

Has anyone heard of the mobile app "quick thoughts"?
So, for MobiAudit, I would just put in the URL of any Shopmetrics site I am registered with? I have no idea which are shopmetrics, can anybody give me a hint? I'm signed up with a bunch of companies so I probably have the major ones already.

Kathie,

Shopmetrics is the software that some MSC's use. Common MSC's that use Shopmetrics are Alta360, Sentry, Advanced Feedback, Measure CP (They use Shopmetrics for some shops and iSecretShop for others), AboutFace, Strategic Reflections, and many others.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Not listed above: ACE, Coyle, 5 Diamond, MCG, Mercantile ( prob a lot more) these are just a few that I can think of that are also Shopmetrics.

I just called MobiAudit and asked the same question regarding what URL am I supposed to enter, like every single one that I am registered that is a Shopmetrics site? The sales person told me in a couple weeks they will be launching a new app called Gig something so he said maybe I should hold off.
