My worst Pet Peeves - makes me want to scream!!

While entering a report, I remembered one of my big pet peeves - when the report examples do not follow the requested guidelines. Last time I did this shop one of the comments was to remember to use past tense. I just now noticed one of the example answers is in present tense, which is probably why I did that in the previous report.

The editor also complained that I didn't describe the team members in the narrative, but since they were described under the Team Member section, I thought it was unnecessary. I hate redundancy in reports.

The worst was when I was asked to add photos to a report that were already there. Was the editor trying to stall the approval and hence payment or lower my score because I needed to be re-contacted? I refuse to work for such companies any more. Life is too short!

The other day I got a pleasant email from what I hope is a new scheduler...He offered me an opportunity to get a free cup of joe. He went on to tell me how he was offering me the flat fee of $xx.xx because I was a special and experienced shopper who had done a great job on previous shops. He had personally vouched for me.
Well, as I recall that $xx.xx is the base amount of pay for this job and has been for years. I have not done one in a while so I cannot remember if I can self assign but I am pretty sure I could. I wrote him back suggesting he should think about rewording his emails in the future but so far he has not responded.

I got this exact same email for Peet's Coffee, stating the he was "personally vouching" for me since I've done them in the past. Funny thing is, I've never done these! I'm not even sure where these assignments are located, as there are none within 100 mile radius of me
Yup, I got one of those too, and I've never even heard of Peet's Coffee, there's definitely not one in my radius.

Sounds like it was a form email sent out to a lot of shoppers... I got one too!
But if you ever see a Peet's coffee, give them a try. They have them out here in my 'hood and the coffee snobs I know love it. Coffee all tastes basically the same to me once I put cream and sugar in, so I can't vouch for them personally, but it's where I send out-of-towners who ask me for coffee shop recommendations since it's a chain and they're plentiful here.

One of my pet peeves is the MSC who includes locations which do not follow their requirements. For instance, why include a location when it does not have the targeted personnel ever? Your target is never going to be there for the audit. Why not just exclude it from available locations and not trick the shopper? Everyone around knows there would be no target except the shopper.
Peet's is a west coast coffee place. Their coffee is very good. The job is especially nice as it (used) to require you to purchase a half pound or so of their special of the month, which was always good. When you purchase coffee in bulk, this coffee shop gives you your choice of a free cup of whatever coffee you want to drink while you observe cleanliness and all the other mystery shopping duties. I do not know if you can get the fancy frozen ones for free.
Hey, I thought I was special when I got that same email. I was not? Darn. Back to therapy I go. LOL.

I had never heard of Peet's Coffee, before receiving that email either. In fact I have yet to complete a shop for the MSC that sent that email...LOL.

So NSS emails me several times a month about pizza shops in my area that have a bonus. In the email it states that it is one I have done recently, and to respond with what date I can do it and they will let me know what the bonus is. Well, there are about 10 of them that I do in my area on a regular basis including the one that delivers to me, and I know if that email came at the beginning of the month the bonus is not going to be as much as they gave me previously later in the month. They never send the original email with the address and bonus. It takes some back and forth on my part and theirs to finally figure out whether or not I can/will do it. Wouldn't it be much simpler to just include the information in the original email so I can just answer yes or no in my reply?
