SCHEDULER OF THE MONTH!

We, (my husband and I), are pleased to announce our appointment for
SCHEDULER OF THE MONTH!
Mr. Greg Zonker who is with Kern Scheduling.

Greg did the unthinkable! We wrote an email to him, saying that we kept
getting emails from him for shops that were a gazillion miles away from
where lived. We asked if there was any way he stop sending them.
Now y'all know how a lot of schedulers are. They sometimes don't even
answer if there's a real problem with an assignment.
Within a half hour we had a reply from this respectful, courteous man,
who had no real reason he had to reply. We don't even do work for Greg,
because he doesn't handle out territory and yet he took the time to
answer us. We do work with Kern Scheduling and have found them to have
good clients and good jobs.
I wanted all of you to know that there is at least one "good guy" out
there, because they are few and far between.
Lets hear the cheers for Greg!

Way to go, Greg!!

It goes a LONG way when we (shoppers) know that there are Schedulers that care and treat shoppers like human beings instead of just using them as "tools". smiling smiley

There are good schedulers out there. We hear alot about the bad, but, I have had some great ones from Beyond Hello, Service Check, Retail eyes.....I think maybe it's the editors that put the pressure on the schedulers to make the reports more difficult than should be.

They are good to work with....like everything in life, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I don't have a clue why I said that...lost a couple brain cells on my last job. Where's a smiley when you need him.

I'm definitely impressed with Susan of KSS. 45 minute turnaround time on a nighttime emailed shop question. smiling smiley

Since it was 4/1 her time-I'll give her April!

My April:
Shannon Scarberry of Intellishop. Friendly, funny and flexible. And she bonuses a particular shop for me every week because I have to travel a distance. In return, I will never let her down.

My scheduler of the month would be......Maria of Mercantile, she gave me a job last minute that I had wanted to do, called me personally, answered my questions and was very nice. Felt I could call or email anytime.

I have worked with Shannon S, at Intellishop and she is terrific, I agree with sneakers as well.

Sneakers said, "The Kern schedulers are lovely people."

I wholeheartedly second this. I had a really great, hour long (should have used my cell) conversation with one today. What a sweetie.

Joan, You'll be getting the good jobs of Orange...1 hour conversation, WOW.
I think she must have been really bored. She had asked that I call or let her know a good time for her to call so she could give me some extra info on a Saturday shop. We now know each others life story. LOL

It is amazing how close people get on cyberspace.....I don't think my friends see this side of me. I am divorced, and met a man in New York on Cyberspace. We have this amazing friendship, talk several times a week. I know all about his kids and visa versa, this has been going on 2 years.....maybe it will last, because we don't have to live together...LOL

What can I say...at my age, it's about time to do what I want (the Golden years) yeah right! I like to call this "my third life". Actually not bad, daughter on her own, and doing well, I raised a fine girl, bright, pretty, has a career, went to top University, has Masters, she was the one that told me age is just a number, Mom, you love to shop, find something in that field to do....what a concept. Now when people ask, what do you do?, I hold my head up high and say, "I shop".

Guska, With all due respect, brush up on your spelling, use spell check when sending in your reports....this is a very important component to mystery shopping.
Guska-
The schedulers are not going to call you. Sign up with companies on Jacob's list, then check the job boards on their sites, see what's available in your area, and put in an online request for the job. If nothing's available, sign up with some more companies. I would venture to say that most successful shoppers are signed up with at least 50 different companies. Some are with 100-200. Not all of them will have jobs in your area or even jobs you're interested in doing. Most of us, when we're not shopping, spend alot of time looking for shops. Perserverance is the name of the game. Good luck to you----now go start putting in those new applications!

Oh, we have to follow the advise, that's alot to ask, I just like to read it, then do what I want.
shop 4 u
I think you is not corect 4 is number four it is no for and u is not for you.
so do not critical my spelling if your is not correct.
I'm born in Europa, learn english my self. You people finish school in USA has more error then people from another country. With company I work I do not have any problem on my spelling.

Your right Guska.....good luck with mystery shopping.
You know, my husband is from Europe (Denmark) and English is his second language. He has lived in the US only six years, and his English is impeccable. It has been proven, even with native speakers of a language, that good spelling and grammar are more of an indication of attention to detail than of intelligence. That tells me that anyone can do it - especially since we have the luxury of spelling and grammar checkers, and the time to read things over and over before posting them.

Anyway, I'd like to reverse nominate my NY/NJ bank shoppers as shoppers of the month. I had a really hard month. My brother has been in and out of intensive care since Feb. 28, and I spent some time earlier this month working out of a corner of his hospital room. My shoppers were fantastic - willing to go pick up shops at a moment's notice and constantly asking about his condition. It warmed my heart and reminded me that relationships are relationships, no matter where they are forged.

Judith, I wish your Brother a speedy recovery. I couldn't agree more about forming relationships, the location isn't important, it's what is between the people, caring and sharing...in our case work. We are on the same jobs, forums and really understand what we go through, most times better than relatives. We found out how strong we are, when tested.
Judith-Your brother is in all of our thoughts and prayers.

By taking the time to post praises about your shoppers, you have cemented my opinion that KSS schedulers are at the top of the list for schedulers of the month, and quite possibly of the year smiling smiley

Let's hear it for KSS Schedulers.....
Rah, Rah, KSS Schedulers!!

Judith is one of very few schedulers who comes here to kibbitz with us and lead us along the path of righteousness. smiling smiley Maybe more schedulers should join in to choose a shopper of the month somewhere. It's a good idea.

Guska--
People like to make funny identities online. Shop 4 u's ID is a pun, and she knows how to spell it correctly. My ID is actually the name of one of my cats.

Where are you from, Guska?

Judith--
how is your brother?

Sneakers, thanks for the support....I don't think she'll understand. I think it a good idea for more scheduler's to come online, and give us hints of what they want, and tell us what makes a good shopper in their eyes. Nice to kibbitz with you. Did you sign with Pinkerton?

Gentle, I do 8 to 10 shops a week...I don't complain or explain about all the 7 shops I'm doing today, that's you, honey. When do you have time to shop, I have thought that of you, since YOU brought it up...look inward. You are taking your hate and vengence out on me, wonder why! Your a wanna be critic, beside all the other hats you wear......who are you, really?

Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/07/2008 01:02AM by shop 4 u.
"I don't think she'll understand." Can we be more condescending? Guska seems to have it under control.

And your post, April 4, 3:17 PM; "Your right Guska.....good luck with mystery shopping." Again, condescending. And your grammar is off, Irene. It should be "you're" not "your".

Perhaps grammar debates should go into private mail, so as not to embarrass anyone.

When do you have time to shop? You write fully half of the posts here.
