Video training will be FREE at all 2016 IMSC conferences!!!
I have done video since 2005. Some new car and assisted living shops actually have extensive written reports; others have practically none, some have short reports. Most apartment videos have simple, short reports, but EPMS ones can be very long. Sooo, on average, the written parts of video shops are much shorter, and, of course, you are free to ask to see the survey before committing to the shop. video schedulers, with verrrry few exceptions, will work with you are partners, not as "bosses." They typically have done hundreds of these shops themselves, so will empathize with and support you. They will also expect you to keep in touch AND to contact them immediately after a shop to report whether it is complete or not, so that they can plan the next visit in case your visit could not be completed.
This is a different, and much more collegial, world from traditional mystery shopping. You take on more responsibility (because everything that you say, and most of what you do, is on record); you get more respect, communication and support, because your scheduler has been in your shoes. And no one can say that you were not where, or who, you said you were, or that the SA could not possibly have said or done what you have on record! And, man-oh-man, it is cool to know that what some buffoon said during a car shop will not be disputed!!!
