How do you organize "job looking" when you are signed up with lots and lots of companies?

So I'm trying to be more organized in looking at opportunities with all the companies I'm signed up with. Of course, it sure seems that many I'm signed up with do not have any openings in my area. There are about half a dozen "mainstays" that regularly have jobs that peak my interest in in my area. I don't want to not check the others though as you never know when they might surprise one and have a job one would be interested in. What I have been doing so far to remember to check every site fairly regularly is to put the sign-in page as another browser window to open whenever I open the browser (I use Google Chrome at the moment) so currently it opens 33 MSC log-in pages plus my e-mail and another page I have set to open. You can imagine - the "tabs" across the top are pretty small. Like I said, a LOT of those pages open to companies who so far have not had opportunities in my area. I do plan to apply to more shopping companies in time (I wonder how many windows I can set to open in Google Chrome?). It seems to me, though, that there may be a better way of organizing the opening of and sorting through so many MSC pages. I find that in some, if I don't check often enough, someone else in my area snatches up all the job - and someone recently joined one of them and all my go-to jobs have disappeared - and in looking they have been already assigned to others ... meaning I didn't get there fast enough. I work a full time day job, so can't be looking while at work. It used to be I'd be able to still see them when I got home from work at night. Anyway... back to the original question - so how to YOU organize multitudes of companies for opportunity searching and remember to get into all of them for looking?

In Firefox you can set up a 'bookmark' to contain links to the sign in pages. I have a 'bookmark' of 'Useful MSPs'. These are the companies I work with most, want to check most often and are most likely to yield work. At the bottom of the list in the bookmark is the option to 'open all in tabs'. A dozen to a dozen and a half does not slow my computer down. I have the computer remember my login name and password, so I simply hit 'login' on a screen for it to open, do a quick check of the job board and log out if there is nothing. I then have other bookmarks of 15-20 each of the other companies I am registered with so that I can check them when time is available or it is close to the end of the month. A new company I register with goes into the 'Useful MSPs' bookmark when I register to be frequently checked and if nothing of interest in my area shows up after a month or so, I move them to one of the other bookmarks.
Most browsers have the bookmark feature. Mine are bookmarked and in alphabetical order, too.
Most of them indeed have a bookmark feature. I haven't used Chrome, but there is no option such as 'open in tabs' with IE that is available on Firefox. That feature is worth its weight in gold when wanting to do a quick search of a whole bunch of job sites.
I have several browsers on my computer that I use for various tasks. One thing I love about Firefox is the built in spellcheck feature--when I do a report for Ardent, for example (who doesn't have a spellchecker in their reports), misspelled words and some grammar/typos are underlined automatically. Gotta love that.
I work 60 plus hours a week. I have a smart phone. I bookmarked all of the MSCs I am registered for. I initially figured out the listing patterns of my favorite shops. From there the general patterns of each company.

I check the sites when I take a break. I check them during lunch. I check them when relaxing at home. I check them......

I have a notebook with every MSC I am signed up with written down. I write down my preferred shops and when they are usually released. This helps me retain the cycles. Use your phones note options to keep a checklist.

Email the schedulers of your preferred shops and ask if they can give you priority of any kind.

The more you invest in your basic tools the better you will be at this. Have a smartphone and a great data plan. If getting those shops are important, adjust your priorities. I watch less TV, stopped playing games on Facebook and spend less time on social networks in general. Balance things.
