Bad Shopper. WWYD?

In many circumstance that might be a good idea for someone in a one party state. The problem is this is occurring inside an auditorium where a movie is playing. If by some chance any employee becomes aware of a recording it could be mistaken for piracy.
There is the upside. Get arrested for piracy and then you don't have to worry about this thieving shopper dilemma anymore!

I check movie trailers for two companies. I never apply for the same theater/movie. One company is booked weeks in advance, while the other might only be a few days. I enjoy going to a particular theater. It is close to my house and the employees are amazing. Several times I've run into the shopper from Company V. While she is friendly, she often is running into the theaters well after the trailers have started and thus will ask me which ones have already played. The first few times, I've helped her, but it is really annoying me that I am basically doing her job for her without the pay. Last week, she snuck up behind me and copied my list not once but twice. When I turned back to see what she was doing, she would ask me if I knew the trailer playing then leave before I could answer. We apply for the same jobs at Company V, yet she always gets them over me. I am beyond irritated at her behavior, but I don't know how to approach the situation. Do I say something to Company V or let it go?
you should never have allowed her to detect you as a shopper. you keep an open and visible list when you're in the theater? if she can see it, then others can probably see it too.

This is where the old standby of using shorthand would come in handy. But I don't even know if they teach that anymore.
Due to the Oscars, a DVD quality version of all the movies before they are even released in the theatre have been flooded across the internet.

The production houses are now deciding if they will even allow screeners again. I'm not saying I watched 12 films before they hit the theatre over the holiday season.

The sad part is that if I did, only 4-5 of them were worth watching at all!

Bank shopper, a theater checker is not undercover. It doesn't matter if others can see it. It apparently mattered that the other auditor saw it, though.
It's not a given that the other checker is cheating or violating any guidelines. Some companies allow you to use a helper. The main problem as stated by the OP is that the other checker is getting jobs the OP also wants, and is using the OP's work without compensation.
Here is one sure fire way to have someone stop copying your work. Make two printouts and fill one out correctly and fill out a second copy that is 100% inaccurate.

Let the other shopper copy the wrong data and I bet you don't see them again!
