No pay

I accepted an oil change shop. The guidelines said to call and make an appointment. The company did not provide a telephone number.I tried to find one on line. I emailed for help on how to proceed. After the third email I received a response to proceed, I went to the location. It was new and not open yet. I was told it would be a week or so. I called the Mystery Shopping company. They said oh well. Don't you think I should at least get the $5 fee. The shop is still on the sight.

Do the written guidelines address closed locations or state the shopper should not go if unable to reach someone on the phone? Did a company representative tell you in writing to make the on site visit without a call?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Well, they did tell you to proceed, so...yeah, I think so. But the MSC might not. It's only $5 though, so they should.
My thought was if the OP has it in writing to go then she fulfilled her part of the contract. I think she needs to be sure of everything like the guidelines, then address the MSC using words such as, "I fulfilled our contract per your written instructions."

If this is the MSC I'm thinking of, you wouldn't see the $5 for three months anyway, so what's the difference? smiling smiley
