Has anyone used this app or done these shops with the re-loadable cards ? It says you have to count the cards and take a picture of the display, and that it should only take 5-10 minutes. It sound like it would be longer. Another question is if you have to mystery shop or it does not matter if anyone knows what you are doing?

I have done these with another app. I just went in and did my counts. It depends how many locations the cards are in. I was at a drugstore, so there were only two locations. 5, 6 minutes tops, including the photos. No one bothered me, so I didn't have to explain anything. If asked, I would have told them I was with ______ and was to do a spot count of the _____cards. If I am doing anything weird which could bring a security guard over to ask me what I am doing, you bet I will tell. I felt it was more of a merchandising job. Read the instructions carefully, it should tell you. (I just spent the weekend counting avocados, right next to employees, putting them in my cart and taking pictures, and no one said a word to me)
I have never seen any shops for counting produce. I am trying to get my son interested in merchandising because he works in a store stocking groceries. He has worked at CVS too, and stocked merchandise. He doesn't understand that there are actually jobs people make money doing. Thanks for the information. Do you have to pay for the APP?

The ones I saw were in a grocery store, so that is why I was wondering if it took a longtime. It would be very convenient if you lived close to the locations.
Could you tell me how this works? Does an MSC invite you to sign up? Thanks!

I just downloaded the app and looked over the 13 samples they give. I don't have nearly the good feeling about this I had before. 13 samples of completed reports with pictures that should be of the displays and not one shows an actual display. All 13 sample reports are examples of jobs gone smoothly with no problems finding the display and cards. No examples of what to do if things don't go perfectly.

Hi wwin! I'm Daniel Price and I'm the Project Supervisor for this project. The sample photos are the one thing that haven't been added to the app as we're working on getting them situated correctly on the "real" mission. This was just a sample mission that we wanted to show the shopper sort of how the app will navigate them inside the store in advance of the project start date. They will definitely be in there prior to the start date for this specific project

We'll also be giving out a few samples next week on if something should arise at your specific store(s). Rest assured we'll make sure you're ready to go and we will have info for you in case something comes up. And in some cases the stores obviously wont have it perfect, and that's totally ok. I'm confident once you're in the store you'll see that it will be a breeze. We've done a very similar project in smaller convenience stores or pharmacies, which are usually more difficult than a large grocer, and they've gone fine.
