Big box audit question

I'm curious about these assignments. I've read the assignment details which specifically say the audits take approximately 7-8 hours and require constant standing, bending, squatting. I'm really interested in trying one of these assignments but I'm being scared away by these warnings. I had back surgery a few years ago and still have some mild lingering pain occasionally.

Can anyone describe to me what is really required with this type assignment? Thanks!

It's up to me to make me happy.

I was in the big box store and I saw 2 men that I believe were doing these shops. The one man was on the ladder and interrupted my shop 2 times to find the things on his list. The other guy was on the floor inventorying items. They did not loom happy of fridndly. Looked a little stressed but everyone is different.

There have been many posts in the past about this. Some say 10 to 12 hours, some say they can get it done in 6. It truly sounds like a nightmare if you don't have a good store to audit. Do they still offer the video? Watch it and then decide.
OP, probably the only bending you would do is during the part where you check planograms. It is sometimes hard to read the sku and you would have to bend over to check the area thoroughly. (The guidelines tell you to check skus up and down the section, not just one spot.) Any other times of bending that I can think of would be if you bent down to scan a price on the lower shelf with a Telxon gun. These audits are not physically taxing, but there is a lot of time spent walking around the store for the different sections of the audit.
If shelf tags are hard to read, one thing you can do is take a photo with your phone and zoom in on the tag so you can read it on the screen. I've done this just when shopping for items for myself on a sore day and tags have been tiny and hard to read.
My guess is they were not doing the audit talked about here. As far as I know, the MSC does not allow two people and has never had components requiring use of the ladders.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.
