I've learned about the fabulous places that many of you do assignments at...

What are your tips for finding out what MS company they use? I am aware of jobslinger. It lists what business needs a shopper and what company does that shop. Is there another way? Thank you in advance.

Sign up with every MS company and you will have access to their job boards and emails. There is no "easy" way to immediately know who does which client, also clients shift companies at times.

I never look for specific clients. I look for companies that pay commensurate with the work and on time. The most fabulous place to shop doesn't mean diddly squat if the company pays peanuts, pays late or has to be chased for payment.

Sometimes you can find it by googling the name of the business+mystery shop. But that can lead to old information sometimes too or information that doesn't apply to where I live. Companies change mystery shopping providers and some companies use different companies in different areas.

While googling who shopped a business I found this forum. I signed up with every company on the list and started checking job boards and found a lot of work.
When I sign up with a new company, I always broaden the search esp in the Sassie platform to look at the whole US that gives me an idea what clients that MS works with so just in case that client decides to expand to my area, I can keep an eye out. However, I see Chris Ruth with a particular MS but I have yet to see it in my area and I have 2 of them near me, I'm thinking either those two are not shopped or they are given to long time shoppers of that MS. Now, I monitor that MS board more than some others.

Also like Prince said above, I sometimes google like just today I googled Jamba Juice + MS ( after seeing another post here) and a very old post on babycenter came up, with the MS that does Jamba Juice, they have since changed names and I'm signed up with that MS but have never seen Jamba Juice, so either they are with a different MS or I just miss the timing...
Like everyone else says sign up with as many as you can!
Good luck!
Sorry to burst your bubble but the most valuable shops often can come with significant consequences for outing them. IE shoppers are extremely guarded when posting about them...

If you are looking for clues without dumping all of your personal information 200 times, look at the home page, particularly the client side, and testimonials, of the mystery shopping companies.

Lots of your own research. This forum does a lot of work for you, as there's an "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies."

From there, you may also figure out that some of the platforms these MSC's utilize such as SASSIE have a way in searching for work posted on the SASSIE platform.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
If you contact the client and ask that they forward your contact info to their msc, you may have luck. Just be sincere and explian that you wish to shop for them Don't bluntly ask them who they use, either. Also, some clients actually know which msc shops them, as their shop reports are posted in open employee areas with the msc name listed on the bottom. This was the case with A&P and Pathmark supermarkets.
@Tarantado Are you saying there is a place where you can search all of the Sassie platform jobs in a certain area ? I know there is jobslinger and the PrestoGo is there another place to search all Sassie jobs in one area?

MSCs control which shops are posted on Jobslinger. Many clients do not want their shops posted publicly.

I have a few helpful links in my signature line.

When using Google BE WARNED several websites that charge for information will pop up. Anything they list is available for free.

Also, beware to use the links that are posted either on the list here or in the links that Isaiah58 has in his signature (something that is known to be good). Sometimes scammers will try to phish and make you think they are with a reputable MSC (using their name) and giving you a scam link instead. Just like with any other business such as banks, stores, etc., using the known reputable link is always best than using a link from an unsolicited email. If the email asks you to have them send you a check, you do the "mystery shop" and send them money back for any reason, it is a HUGE red flag as a scam.
