Lack of diversity of my purchases?

Three more gas stations today, maybe I can find some real weirdness to purchase and see what happens.

Back home already. I bought hot cocoa mix, condoms and duct tape. Let the editors ponder THAT.

I can understand what you will use the duct tape and condoms for but what will you do with the hot cocoa mix?

Totally ridiculous. Like only mystery shoppers drink iced tea. Did you ask her what the heck she was talking about? And how much do you get paid for this shop????

Eileen, it's actually a legit complaint because sometimes the employees figure out that certain items are connected to certain shops. That said, if you've been doing a gas station shop awhile and they haven't figured out who you are, then suddenly changing your regular purchase might also look suspicious.

As for what this shop pays, I don't know.

There are people who enjoy drinking iced tea beverages year-round too and the stores around here sell it all the time.

One of my local neighborhood convenience shops is a place I frequent with or without it being an assignment. This particular chain has a very popular section of flavored iced teas adjacent to the soft drink fountain. Probably half the people in that store are getting one or the other or both, regardless of whether it's a MS. smiling smiley

Things I have purchased at these types of shops include matches and fly swatters. grinning smiley Those kinds of purchases tend to happen when I have 5-10 convenience shops in one day, and I've already gotten a couple of drinks, protein bar, sunflower seeds, nuts, etc.
