In doing research for an article I came across a mystery shopping company that logs your IP, knows when you log in, how many times, who you are and other identifying factors. They do Photo DNA and they can tell when you took the picture and warned to not send pictures you already took or to get them off the internet (someone took a trash can pic off the internet and submitted it to the salsa shop) Needless to say, they were deactivated. This log in might explain why a few certain companies have a concern if you and a spouse, or you and a roommate are logging in on the same IP address.
When I first started mystery shopping, they said to never give a fake birthdate because that will flag you. Never start a new account because that will flag you. Never give a false SS#. Not that I would do any of these things but I learned a lot signing up with new companies!
Don't try to start up a new account with a fake name. Bad idea!
