Husband in need of help finding Wife's favorite Capris

My wife has a pair of Capris that she has had for probably 5 years now and the only tag on them is in the back and it is a quarter inch thick tag that is about an inch and a half long. It looks like a red and white bar code with a White fancy A on it. They are 95% cotton and 5% Spandex. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Indeed, you have arrived in a forum of mystery shoppers, not a shopping site. Mystery shoppers visit businesses to evaluate their cleanliness, courtesy etc., not so much a store's inventory.

Unless the capris came from Ross....
Does your wife know that you are advertising to purchase a pair of Capris for her? Why don't you ask her where she bought themgrinning smiley
We are not a shopping site; however, my guess on the capris is Aeropostale. Logo is usually red or white and starts with an A and kind of fancy writing. Also was popular about 5 years ago.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
They are obviously of great importance, since they are her favorite capris and 5 years old. They must be replaced immediately. As others have stated, we are not a shopping site, however, lbw1000 seems to know his stuff. Good luck finding those capris!
Just out of curiosity, what made you think about purchasing something that was brought five years ago? Let me explain this in a guy's type vantage point. If you walked in a car dealership and wanted to buy a brand new vehicle but you wanted to think about it. Do you think the car dealership would have the same vehicle in stock after returning five years later?
I think CatGranny missed the point.
The way I read this post was:
The OP's wife has a favorite pair of Capri Pants. She loves them, wears them all the time. The OP wants to buy her another pair, but can't figure out who makes them. He described the tag on them, which was ambiguous about the brand, hoping that someone would recognize the brand. Someone did! Now the OP either needs to see if that brand has any similar styles that they're currently making that his wife might also like, or he can check eBay or something for some gently used capris that are the exact same style. Now that he knows the brand (or at least has a lead) he can try to make his wife's day.

It kind of makes sense that he thought he had found a place to ask. It's called MysteryShopForum. He had a shopping mystery on his hands. Who better to ask then mystery shoppers?
He didn't know the Brand, that's why it was a mystery.
Seriously, how hard is this to understand?
Sigh. I've clearly become too invested in this. I might need to step away from the internet for a while....

I am not a guy but I have had many a male relative that wore the same style year after year after year. And the store they bought from carried the same style year after year after year. So even tho I do not know if the op is intending to find the same exact style again I can imagine some males thinking it would be easy to do so.
They are her favorites and they are in terrible need of retirement! She doesn't know the brand and I thought I would make her day if I were to find something close.

As a person who has some favorite capris I completely understand.
Speaking for the guys, we don't like change in our wardrobe.

I had my favorite pair of jeans wear out and was distressed when I found that they no longer made that particular model. The old ones fit me great. The new ones...not as well...and why the hell don't people like button fly jeans anymore! If I had known they would disappear, I would have bought a few pairs when they were around!

P.S. I love how this thread has evolved smiling smiley
They don't make button fly jeans any more? I couldn't even guess the last time I went shopping for jeans so I haven't noticed yet. Personally, I'm rather impartial. I have one pair of button fly, although despite them being the same numerical size as the rest of my jeans, they're about 2 sizes too small for me right now. My husband has mentioned that he prefers them on other guys. I'm not too sure if that's an aesthetic thing or....something else. Lol

Shopping central Arizona.
What a very nice guy. Bravo for him, thinking outside of the box to try to find a replacement for her capri's . My hat is off to you, sir.

You are still talking about her "capris" right?confused smileygrinning smiley
Are they worn to sheds? are they faded? Did she "gain/lose" where the "cap" no longer "ris"ed?
Google "capris", if the above label suggestion don't work.
Your best bet, take her to her favorite shop/store and let her "buy" out the store (before she's in need of retirementgrinning smiley)
Exactly what I suspected. He got tired of looking at the old capri and wanted to replace it with something similar but did not know where he could find them, so came to the board for help.

Reminds me of my favourite housedress. My late husband must have gotten tired of it when he asked me not to wear it anymore. He said, "I am afraid Mama (my mother) may ask to take you back if she sees you wearing that." winking smiley
Some "A" brands that come to mind: Ann Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle.

Good luck in your quest. I completely understand.
Your wife's situation has inspired me. I will now leave the forum and search for logos beginning with 'A'. (I love my current capris and am thrilled that I will soon need other, smaller ones.) Why not see what the mysterious 'A' brand has? smiling smiley

Set up a search on eBay and get notifications when any are listed! You'd be surprised how many great "vintage" or just retired apparel items show up for sale on there.

I'm feeling soft and mushy knowing how hard your trying to find your wife's favorite jeans, but why not take her shopping, and encourage her to try on something new....Macy's has it all, and always has a sale. Let us know what you do!!

Aeropostale is my guess. Alas, they have closed many locations and have declared bankruptcy.

When my husband's tired, worn out duds have passed the point of no return, I "encourage" their retirement, via a tug or pull. Then, I go shopping for replacements. He has no complaints
