A Closer Look shop Maximum

I'm curious if others that work with ACL have a limit to the number of shops they can have open. I currently have a limit of five.

I ran into that a few months ago. It was the first I had heard of it and certainly I have had bunches more than that scheduled at once in the past. The must have had someone take a bunch and walk away leaving them high and dry.

I'm guessing you are talking about hotel shops? I ran into this problem a couple of years ago while on a long route. The scheduler simply held the extra shops back and added them in as I submitted the ones assigned. It was my understanding it only applied to hotels but I could be wrong.

I haven't done hotel shops for them. A scheduler told me she could not assign a restaurant shop I requested because I currently had 5 shops open (none of which were the client for whom I was requesting assignment).

I was told 2 years ago that it was hotel shops, it appears that now it's all shops.

I thought it was up to four self-assigned and max of two more assigned by a scheduler. I was on the call team previously, but that made it where I missed out on the good stuff in exchange for $8-10ish each phone shop they assigned me. I only self-assigned three for August because you never know when something amazing will come along, but if it's five, I should go for the fourth one!

The used to have many restaurants in the L.A. area, now they tell me nothing is available, but they'll let me know if something comes up within my 30 mile radius.

I am a scheduler and yes there are limits based off of your history. Once you complete a shop you are eligible to add another to your list, anywhere from 1 to 5 shops is the normal.

I have a limit of 6. The limit increases it seems by the number of quality reports you submit. Sometimes when they really need a report done and you already are at your limit they will get permission to give you that one more shop. A Closer Look is the best mystery shopping company I have worked for.

in my area, most of the shops I see on my board are for the pizza place that pays reimbursement unless I ask for more (I got a reachout today to do a specific one today or tomorrow, but when I asked for a bonus/fee I was told there was none available.) I am in SoCal - maybe I have to do more than a certain number of shops to see more on my list? I have done seven, without an editor questions, since June. I am getting tired of the pizza. (I did do the doggie-diner a couple of months ago and have the Mediterranean take-out style next week.)
