Most remote U.S. site?

I have a few really remote spots which are in the desert, but obviously, require a complete route of lucrative bonuses! I can access the California/Arizona desert fairly quickly from my home. What has been your most remote location?
Google this address for a laugh! (take a look at the building!) 48157 Memorial Dr Newberry Springs, CA 92365 ...I actually was assigned this location!!!

I saw that job posted, nice pay. I was wondering who they'd get to drive out there.
Luckily, I googled the place first and also negotiated a huge incentive/bonus...methinks it is abandoned!
It has a facebook page, with a post on that page from May of this year. I bet it surprises you!
I googled it. I've done some that are pretty remote, but never that far from anything. When you go to street view and look at your station from one particular angle, you will see it is a busy Texaco truck stop. On the other angles it is under renovation. That is one funny thing about street view. I've looked up some of my locations and they are one brand from one direction, and a different brand from the other!
I had the same thing happen while moving around the station. Out of the blue one image from 2008 was mixed in with all those from 2012. Google maps is funny like that. I've been moving one direction down the street seeing it sunny with green trees then go back the other way to find a cloudy winter scene.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Good One! I saw that this was a "M" station, (obviously recently rebuilt!) but I just couldn't resist that initial image of an old worn out shack in the middle of nowhere! Ha!
I was acquainted with a guy from Newberry Springs...he was a solo outpost type guy who worked for the Fisn and Wildlife service, studying the desert tortoise and trying to protect it out at Ft. Irwin (U.S. Army training facility for tanks!). Talk about a hot dry, dusty job!

Wow! That looks almost like a place in Amagorso, CA that I was asked to shop once. I used to shop a business in Death Valley, CA, but it finally closed permanently a couple years ago and I no longer shop it. I still shop Shoshone, CA.
Remember: Google maps is not always accurate for the current date. My son and his wife built a house and were in it November of 2013. It STILL shows TODAY the framing of the house, just wood structure, no walls, you can see right through!

Now, when you Google something, it may show an abandoned lot but TODAY it might have a business there. Also, take a look at the Gas Price signs on Google. If they say: $3.59 you KNOW it's an old capture of the area (considering gas here is $1.79. today. smiling smiley
If you look in the lower right corner of the screen, it'll tell you the month/year that it was captured. No need to guess based on the gas prices, although they can be a good indicator. smiling smiley

Shopping central Arizona.
Remote? I've seen the occasional job posted in Zip code 96799. For most, that's about as remote in the US as one can get.
Wow. Crop Circles and everything.

Thank you. The date on Google maps now says April, 2016. smiling smiley
I see shops come up for Alpine, Tx, and I feel sorry for the schedulers there. If they don't have somebody that lives in Alpine, that's a place that's not close to anybody.
I keep seeing one for Salinas, CA. I know somebody in Salinas, CA. She could do this job. I can't refer her, as the MSP is a nightmare for reporting and virtually never answers the phone. Emails go unanswered. It would be her first job (it's an easy shop), but there's no way she'd figure out their website to enter it.

I have shopped Newberry Springs, Blythe and Needles in the past.

I shop Blythe and Needles several times a year. I do not consider them remote, since they can easily be on the way from LV to Phoenix.
I get emails all of the time for shops in Ketchikan, Alaska and I live in Anchorage. It is either over a day's drive away or a flight away. I'm willing to do it if they pay for my flight smiling smiley
