Is it just me, or is Shopmetrics websites incredibly non user friendly?

I don't know what it is, but maybe it's just me, but WHY are shopmetrics so incredibly hard to use? I don't find them as user friendly as Sassie Shops, and I cannot find the additional instructions for a shop for the life of me.

For example, for Sentry Marketing, I can check open opportunities, and either their mapping is not correct (because I am not 15 miles from Dubai), or their shops simply do not have enough detail. I click on one of the open ones, and all it may say is "popular local diner evaluation" and it gives you a brief overview, but then it says for additional instructions click (...), but where the hell am I supposed to click? The exact words are "For a full set of instructions and to become certified for this project, please click on the certification link located on the left side of you home page and select the Diner Certification," but.. there are many diner certifications (all of which I have passed), and I STILL cannot see additional instructions.

Can someone PLEASE help me and explain these interfaces to me? Thanks in advance!

Ease of use is in what you are accustomed to work with. Shopmetrics does a good job of showing you information about the shop when you click on the little 'i' in a circle or the title of the shop itself. It gives you the number of questions, the location, the pay, the hours and a blurb about the shop. Once you have done a shop in 'My Settings' 'pay history' you can check on the status of a completed shop. Many times there just are no additional instructions to be seen on a shop. If there are additional instructions, they usually can be opened with the 'click here' towards the bottom of the blurb about the shop and you may need to specify 'other' and select Acrobat Reader if you don't have the default opening program for them.
Follow Flash's instructions and you will be able to navigate Shopmetrics better. There are few, if any, easier and more user-friendly interfaces than SASSIE, but there are definitely some less friendly interfaces than Shopmetrics' for shoppers to deal with. The most UNfriendly interface I can remember is Interactions Field Link.
With Shopmetrics, I have learned that which functions the MSC decides to activate, and how, will often determine how much info the shopper is able to get from each MSC's site.

Also, the brand new Shopmetrics system still has many things in Beta testing, I think. I have talked to schedulers who wish their MSCs would leave Sassie for the new Shopmetrics platform. Apparently, a lot of reprogramming goes into making the switch.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
If you add you zip code to the open ops search, the international locations will not be displayed.

Shopmetrics is my least favorite of the "Big 3" platforms. And their new app is awful. There is a whole thread of complaints somewhere on the forum.
@gizmosandgadgets, I feel your pain! Shopmetrics has a very confusing landing page. After logging in, you are presented with a search screen, but that isn't your starting point. You must first click the link on the left side of the screen that says something like "Open Opportunities" or "Available Shops." The wording varies depending on the MSC.

What happens next depends on which MSC's site you are using as is being discussed simultaneously on this thread [www.mysteryshopforum.com] Some MSCs have made navigation easier; some made it harder.

There is a button next to the Update Filter button on the 3 MSC sites labeled "Apply for Opportunities" that allows a shopper to apply for multiple shops at one time. Is that new or was that always there?

Has anyone noticed any new functionality with the new Shopmetrics?
Since it's Beta, let's start a suggestions thread here.
#1 Default to the country where the MSC is based. I know it's only 3 extra clicks, but having to choose my country every time is annoying.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
I think the Prophet system is worse. I'll get emails from Sentry listing all kinds of available shops, but then when I go to their Prophet site it shows nothing.

I may be wrong, but I thought Sentry moved everything over to a Shopmetrics site several months ago. At least, that's where I see all there shops now. I could be wrong, though. They may still be using 2 avenues.

All of our projects are on the ShopMetrics platform.

Thanks for confirming that!
Sassie is the only one of the platforms that I find to be truly user-friendly. Some of the one-off types, like MarketForce and Second to None are okay, definitely better than prophet or shopmetrics. IMHO.
If you are in the US seeing Dubai and other shops from across the world I was told to make sure to put in the state for those msc that have international shops as some countries have a number that looks like the zips in the US and it confuses the system. I have to filter every time but it always works.
Shopmetrics is not bad you can put in a zip and miles from zip to filter jobs available. All pay statements are easy enough to find. If you use it enough you get used to it. Now prophet is bad as your jobs don't always show up in your city and you have to search jobs outside area or something like that. I use all 3 and you just need to grow accustomed to each. If you can't learn how to use the technology that is essential to this business than consider a different business. This does not mean you have to like the technology.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I dislike (ok, hate) shopmetrics. I dislike the app the company suggested I use, so I could "simply do my report and submit immediately after completion."
Not only did the tutorial leave much to be desired, neither of the two things have a help button. I have been trying to fill out this easy form since 9, it's 1:51 a.m. here. I killed the battery on my phone twice just trying to find a link for help, a link to email someone during their office hours...So. wth?
