Does MF schedulers communicate with each other?

So a couple days ago one of the schedulers asked me if I could do a late night burger shop, which was a 1 hour away drive. I said that would not fit my schedule well and they replied with the max fee of $24 dollars. I still said no. Today I got a call from a different scheduler and they asked if I could do the same shop for $10 dollars. This kinda pissed me off for wasting my time, and also waking me up from a nice nap that I was having. The good side to this story is that I'm about to head out to do a couple decent bonused shops for MF, one of which is a burger shop.

p.s. would anyone drive 2 hours(round trip) for a $24 fee plus reimbursement for a late diner shop?

No, but I would ride a bus for that long and for $24 if I did not know beforehand that it was that far. And I have. But I would not accept a bonused shop for a late dinner where the bus schedule is unreliable.

Yes, I believe schedulers network and when they are desperate, don't be surprised to receive an offer from someone you have never heard of and from an MSC you have not even signed for.

Edited because I am referring to schedulers in general, not only MF schedulers.

I turned down a job due to a wedding I was attending the next day. The scheduler said "I will put a note in your file." The next day on my way to the wedding I received a call for the same shop. I believe the notes are kept in our files but, are not viewed prior to calling. When we screw up I bet they are....
A third scheduler called me today for the same shop and asked if I could do it for 15 bucks.

Did you tell her, "Fifty bucks is a little on the cheap side for this shop, but I could probably help you out for the fifty."

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.

And then you get the shop and the email comes in for $15 as Fifty sounds too much like $15 to the outsourced schedulers.

I have had two schedulers call me at the same time about the same job before. I was toggling back and forth leaving one on hold and seeing who would accept my higher counter offer. This was close to two years ago.

I took the job from one of them who placed me on hold for 10 seconds to check with his manager and accepted my counter offer. I then told the other scheduler that I apologize for the wait, but I am now booked up at that time slot.
