Oh gosh. I forgot about that one. It's like a coupon. Hardly worth it for $4.
There are more near you than near me. With my luck, I'd assign it and have to make a special trip. Too much hassle for me. We have 20 Starbucks for every CB&TL near me.@kenasch wrote:

I do it as a filler shop. If it's on my route I don't mind stopping for a muffin, bagel or coffee. Easy report. I think their Caramael frappuccino is better than Starbucks. I guess they call it "blended".

Funny thing, I know the executive who wrote that old report for CB& TL. I told him it was a lame report, and then he told me he wrote it. We had a long discussion about "for here or to go". He works for a different fast food chain now. He got a better offer.

Oh, I knew we couldn't list both in a statement but I mentioned turn over time on a type of shop and mentioned the company once... like just the type of shop not the store, and then a company name and was messaged that I should delete it... example (made up here)
Say I worked for a company called Bigband&Swing and I said "anyone know what day new reed change shops are posted on Bigband&Swing boards?" Someone said that was a violation even though I just mentioned the type of shop and the company. I didn't mention the store I was shopping--only the service they provide. But then I see folks mention who does grocery shops all the time, just not the grocery store itself so I wasn't quite sure.

I always assumed the issue with "for here or to go" was the sales tax. I'm guessing they had an issue with the state tax franchise board over not collecting tax on orders that were "for here" but not ring up as so. In California, if the coffee/ pastry is "To go" it's not taxed and vice versa for "for here" orders. Am I right?

I have a friend that used to manage a CB&TL years ago who helps me on shops when I need a second person. I ran into her one day at a CB&TL while I was doing a job. She never asked if I was working but she did ask me if the employee asked the "for here or to go question" and explained something about them being fined for not asking the question and getting in trouble with the government for not collecting taxes.

I keep seeing Sprinkles Cupcakes and Ice Cream in my area of SoCal with a reimbursement of $23 but no pay. I have not done it yet, too much sugar for me.
