I haven't found an app yet that saves time - but I have found ways to get around some of the issues (especially photo ones) if the app is a necessary evil.
I will log in - read the requirements then back out of the app and take the photos normally.
This way they are on your camera roll and you can just call on them from there. Just choose File instead of Take A Picture and you should be able to pull them either from "Recent" or from Files / Folders. You do need to know where your phone stores photos.
I also save a lot of time by using Google Photos (you get a lot of space for free) so I always have a back-up copy saved to the cloud to prevent any mishaps (download it to your phone and make sure it is set to automatically "synch" - this will instantly put a copy into your Google Photos account if you have a data plan or are logged into Wi-Fi).
When I need to pull photos I usually just retrieve them from my Google Photos album - then periodically delete all the copies stored in the phone memory (that adds up fast). Even for non-app jobs this is how I take my photos and then just access them from the PC when I get home on Google Photos. You can now choose to have them also synch to Google Storage which can then automatically synch with your computer.
These two programs have made my life much easier.
Any app that can't access photos from the roll or the Google Photos folder is going to be worthless anyway.
