I received a call for an all day sit-in-a-theater assignment. The lady was so thrilled to tell me that there was a $20 dollar bonus! I asked if she remembered me from last week. She whispered she did however she had hoped things were different this week.
Uhmm no. I did not move 150 miles into the snow and mountains to wait for you to call and offer me $50 for a full day of work.
She then, again major happily, said she could make it $150 if I could start in an hour and do 2 days of this sit-around-a-theater-making-myself-a-thorn assignments.
I am 2 almost 3 hours away from that location. I apologize however due to distance, I politely decline unless you want to include travel and that I will be late starting. Let's say $300?
I could hear her pout when she said she will call me back.
