Poorly printed receipts

I am experiencing difficulty with MSC due to faintly printed receipts which is not of my doing. Please beware anyone" evaluating " a mini golf in Hot Springs that this will cause you to be doing a lot of extra work. I did this location once before in May 2016 and the receipt was faint then.

You have started two threads about this twice, one on top of the other. You only need to post one thread.

In answer to your question, receipts that are faint, usually the MSC has a correction feature to darken the ink. To say a mini golf location in Hot Springs will cause you to do a lot of extra work....you need only submit your receipt as it is and the MSC will either contact you for a better copy of your receipt or they won't contact you at all because they accepted your receipt. I tell them that is how they presented the receipt to me and never had a shop declined because of low ink was on a register printer.
I have a feature on my HP scanner to darken the receipt's printing. I use this a lot.
I also use a feature built into my photo viewing app to enhance poorly printed receipts.
I would explain the situation about the poorly printed receipt in my report. Just in case they need to contact you and reduce your scoring of the report. I also used this trick to make my receipts lay flat and doesn't move when I placed them on my scanner. I get annoyed when the receipt moved after you placed the scanner cover on top. I use a 3 by 5 sized index card to place on top of the receipt with the blank side facing down on the scanner. The details on the receipt are much sharper when I did that, I don't need to rescan the receipt, and done in one shot.
Can't you adjust the contrast and lightness/darkness of the receipt before you attach it to your report?

Like others have noted, I adjust these when I scan. My scanner tends to scan light, so I have it permanently adjusted to a darker setting and higher contrast so that these faint receipts come out legible.

If you photograph your receipts instead of scanning, you can use a photo program to enhance the image before sending it.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I lay my difficult to read receipts on a piece of 8.5x11 white copy paper. Then I write everything on the paper and scan the receipt and paper together. It almost looks like you're scanning 2 receipts.
The OP has disappeared into the darkness. He/She has not logged on since the OP, several days ago. I guess they weren't that concerned about the problem or reading about possible solutions.
