I found a hair in my food when I got home

I did a shop tonight for MF. It was a drive-through shop for one of their chicken places. One of my favorite restaurants. When I was parked in front of the restaurant I looked up my food and everything was correct. When I came home I sat down to watch TV and made a burrito with my beans and salsa. When I took a bite I felt a hair in my food. Not only a hair, it is a short curly hair. I am totally grossing out. I already submitted the report. What would you do?

Doesn't your report ask how the food tasted? Assuming this is the case: If you found a hair while tasting the food, you would submit that in the report. You found the hair after the fact. I am sure either way, the client would want to know there was a hair that fell in the food, meaning someone did not have their hair properly restrained. But at the same time, reporting after the fact, could be a problem for you regarding your report being accepted. Is there a question about the food and the quality, or any further comments that could be made about the experience? I would contact the scheduler and let him/her decide how to approach this situation. smiling smiley
I definitely would not go back..that's what they have hair nets for.....after the fact nothing can be done.

Live consciously....
"Tasting" your food and consuming all of it is not necessarily the same thing. I often take a bite just to check for temperature, etc., and take the leftovers home. Very easy for me to imagine finding something in your food after you get home.

E-mail the Help Desk and tell them what happened. They'll take care of the client.
Irene, I have seen kitchen workers who had longer beards than hair on their heads. And guys with hairy arms can shed, too. How do you keep arm hair out of your food, an armhair net? LOL!
