Hair Club

Has anyone completed the Hair Club shop before? If so, how bad is the report? Would you do it again?

I took the assignment. I will let you know how it goes. It pays well. Can't be anymore narrative.than an apartment shop, right?
Oooh, i'd LOVE to do that! My hair is very fine and I look like a darn rat in water after a bath! lol
I did the shop a few years ago. I have not seen it on the job boards recently, so I don't know if the same company is doing it. I don't remember the report being bad....a few short narratives. I just remember that after I submitted the report I told myself that I would do it again. The shop itself took about an hour, but I learned a lot about my hair.

I did it last year. Fair pay for the amount of work involved, had no problems with it. Not sure if there have been any changes since then, though.

It was actually a little bit less narrative than some of the apartment shops I've done. Probably about similar to most.
I enjoy doing these shops that benefit me personally! I have thinning hair that bothers me every time I look in the mirror. But, I would never make an appointment to do this if I wasn't shopping. I would just assume and solutions they may have would not be affordable. I will keep an eye out for one in my area!

I have done the shop twice. There was nothing to it. Just go for your appointment and they will somehow find somewhere in your head a place which can be improve upon. Listen and remember what they say and keep any brochure they will give you. Those will help you in your report. As soon as you are in private, note down what they say for your report. Very easy.
I did it over the summer and loved it. It was an easy report, and i got useful information from the Hair Club.

Yes, like others said....it really was an easy, but weird shop. I just about lost it when the agent explained the cost for the "at home" products. I left there thinking, only Donald Trump could afford this place.

CO, they were very pricey! I didn't see the value in anything that she told me. It was very, VERY informative.

They do hair weaves and extensions. The lady who just had her hair done looked awful. She could get a bad weave at any hairdresser, and a great one if she did her research. They would be much less expensive.

Hair Club sells their version of Rogaine. It's by prescription, and has a 1% by volume active ingredient. Why is this prescription, when Rogaine for Women, which has a 2.5% volume active ingredient, is available over the counter.

Lets not even discuss the at home products.
