Chipotle Shops

JAS, the shop was accepted! I'm working on the report now, and I have lunch for the rest of the week.

Oh, by the way, if ever you get chips that are hard and crunchy instead of light and crisp (don't ever use "stale" in your report, they don't like that) or if the chips are soft and chewy (not cooked long enough), you can put them on a cookie sheet or toaster oven tray and bake them at around 200 for 10 minutes and they will crisp right up. Leftover chips tend to not stay fresh in the paper bags if you don't eat them all but I use this trick all the time to get them back to a great texture.
JAS, thank you for the tips!

I didn't have breakfast this morning, and ended up eating the chips on the way home. Every single crumb.

I work in the office two days this week. That's why the bowl will last me all week.

Thank you Pua! I know I have benefited from the feedback.

Unfortunately, the thread will get buried over time, and the new Chipotle shoppers will start a new thread.

Hijacking my own thread: when I lived in Los Angeles, Jack In The Box (FF) had a commercial for a chipotle burger. Jack's face got twisted when he tried to pronounce "chipotle." That commercial goes through my mind when I read this thread.

Yup. Jack would say: Cha-poodle. I still have to make myself say it correctly. That ad makes me smile years later.
BTW, I was out of town this weekend. We were looking for a quick late-night dinner. My spouse had a post-Christmas BOGO receipt in his wallet so we went to Chipotle! There was a person who could have been a Linebacker or a Expediter since he was bouncing back and forth doing both. Inwardly, I wanted to ask which was his official spot for the night. BTW, outstanding fajitas veggies and I got a big portion, too. It would have received high marks all around.

Chipototlay is the only way I say it because of the Jack in the Box commercials!!!

Doing what I can to enhance the life of my family! I LOVE what I do smiling smiley
Are you able to private message me the name of the company. None of the companies I am with do this restaurant. Thank you

Google it.

@CindyWho, giving the name of the MSC along with the client name would be breaking our ICAs and the forum rules regardless if it is in the public forum, a PM, email or smoke signal.
YEP! Chapoodle and chipototlay are how I say it in my mind, thanks to Jack! Too bad he's not on this coast.

I love their fajitas. If I weren't such a carnivore, I would get a veggie bowl, heavy on the fajitas.

I'm glad your meal was a good one, and half price!

I like them...have been doing for a bunch of years. They used to be a bit more complicated but I find them to be easy and the food is good. I love that they are good payers...super timely. Schedulers are great!

This MSC is very open about this client. In fact I believe, unlike most companies, their ICA allows you to reveal who their client is. However the forum guidelines still don't permit it. The suggestion to google it was a good one, it should show up pretty easily.

I will add I no longer do these shops and I'm significantly happier that I don't. They weren't worth the $27 or whatever.

bgriff, why do you say the shop wasn't worth it?

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
Very simple. I would be like OMG I get to go eat Chipotle today! Then I would get home and dread the report so much that I would keep putting it off and keep putting it off. I realized that I hated the report way more than I liked the $27. I mean seriously I could go do one crappy Maritz gas station audit that was local and make the same amount of money and take less time and then I could just go eat the Chipotle with the proceeds and end up with more money and more time.

I hated them so much that there were times that I would go eat, and then not want to do the report and decide I would just go eat there later in the month again when I felt like it.

And then there was the time that the knowledge question specifically said you could rephrase the question in your own words and then my feedback for the report said "it would be really nice if you would actually read the directions and ask the knowledge question as it's stated." Uh? Really?????

That was my last shop.

Hey bgriff, they did away with the narratives for this shop. I did my shop report last week in 21 minutes. It used to take me an hour or sometimes a little more if there were a lot of negatives or a lot of crew members on duty.
Great for those of you who do them! Had I simply stopped doing them because I didn't like the shops then I might perhaps attempt to do some again. However I don't appreciate being told to read directions when I clearly read the directions and did exactly what they said. And I let them know it. I'm fairly certain when I told them I would no longer be doing them the feeling was mutual but I didn't bother to hang around long enough to find out.

Good one... don't like being told to read directions....

Third graders say that!

Third graders also don't know how to read complete sentences.

That you can read complete sentences?

Bgriffin, you've told this same story on this forum numerous times. No one wants to hear it again. Move on. If you don't have anything nice to say AND you can't be a positive contribution for others, stay off the board.
Mod note: It is interesting that someone who only joined the Forum two days ago is commenting on posts made in much earlier times. Possibly your comment, " If you don't have anything nice to say AND you can't be a positive contribution for others, stay off the board." should be read into a mirror

You. You asked if congratulations were in order. I was confused about what you were talking about so was asking.

YAY! Now we have someone creating duplicate accounts just to complain about me! WOOHOO!

Speaking of acting like a third grader!

It's not a duplicate account. I share an iPad with my hubby. He's a member and I read the posts regularly. I recently created my own account where I can post. Sorry, but again, if you can't be a positive contributor, stay off.
Please tell me where I have not been a positive contributor oh new person who just made an account to tell me I'm not a positive contributor but isn't a duplicate account.

I was talking to everyone in general. The people who like the new shortened report, the people who like eating that food, the people who are happy with the $27 reimbursement, the list goes on. But of course, you need to show your immaturity (aren't you in your 40's or 50's?) by replying with snark. Congrats on that! Good job!
It wasn't snark, I was simply trying to determine who and what you were congratulating. I totally agree with your congratulations though! It's fantastic when people are happy with the shops they do!

Duplicate accounts and talking about someone else being immature is hilarious by the way.

If you're too lazy to google "MSPA Shopperfest 2017" and click on the first link perhaps MS isn't a good fit for you.
