OH NO! They washed my car! funny story

Funny story for the day. I started this morning at the Honda dealership where they wanted to remove my passenger air bag for a quality check. They asked if I wanted a car wash and I said "NO-I don't want a car wash". Later I was told my car was ready and walked out to the service area to find my car dripping wet. I looked at them and said "You washed my car? I said I didn't want a car wash." The guy rushed over and said that they would dry it off and I looked at him and said "No, I wanted it dirty." At this point I realize they think I am a raving lunatic. The problem was my next stop was going to be a car wash shop and now my car was sparkling clean! I drove to my sister's house to get something and realized I had my vacuum cleaner in the car since I needed it at her house. I grabbed the canister from the vacuum, dug to the bottom of it and sprinkled the vacuum dust all over my car. The good thing is that the water had not dried completely yet so some of the dirt stuck. I then burst into laughter that I was throwing dirt on my car for the sake of a mystery shop. However, I had to do the shop today since it is supposed to snow the next two days and the shop is due soon. I have been giggling to myself all day at this silly situation. I probably have some odd comment on my customer profile at Honda now.

Well not that this tops your story but I have done a car wash shop in the snow.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I put one of those peat pellets in some water until it is all mushy-gushy. Then I throw the cup of mush onto the car. I figure it is soft and fresh and will be dry by the time I get to the car wash place.
We have to think on our feet!

I have been paid bonuses to do car shops in the rain. About the only thing I say to the crew is that they don't have to dry my car.
I have done a car wash shop when my car was covered in ice. I scraped barely enough off the windshield to drive the car and took it to the car wash. Turns out there was a line of people getting the same thing done "to get the road salt off their car". It actually was the easiest way to get rid of the snow and ice as the hot water just melts it right off.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
