Pretzel Shops gone crazy

OK, I thought I'd pick up a few pretzel shops to fill in my day at the mall tomorrow. Well, after 29 pages of briefing, a test and 10 pages of questions I am kicking myself already. You are not allowed to take notes or use your phone while on the shop and the management reviews all tape recordings of the shops to verify all details. I have no idea how I am going to remember all of the "details" that they are requesting. Which includes all employees working, names and descriptions. >?< Anyone have any tips on these shops...I'm sure someone has fallen for these before me- LOL

I do these now and then when I'm going to be at a certain mall (not in my town). They are crazy long for an employee that says one word, "hi" They pay a decent fee and the pretzels are good. I couldn't do more than one in a day. I get my pretzel and usually have a cup of coffee bought from McD's when I go there. I sit down so I can see the store, and take my notes. Take a deep breath, and you'll remember while watching, but having a gift for gab helps with this one.

Well, the trick was if you sign up for one you have to also do their mobile set up, too. But it didn't tell you that until you already accepted the first shop. I don't want to do two. I have to do two. Yes, sitting nearby and entering my notes in my phone is doable. I didn't think of that. Thanks.
Don't worry, they are easy. Don't forget to take a photo of your pretzel. Oh. I just realized that you probably already did them because you posted on the 14th...LOL.
If you're worried about remembering the important things to capture, take your own notes. Think of it like it was school... Did you rely on just carrying your textbooks around or did you take your own notes to study?

They have changed the instuction's since my last...we didn't have to do the mobil thing. I have never been asked and it's not in the instructions to use one.....so, where did that come from?

I do not remember AAs being that hard or complicated. In and out, only need the name of the cashier. Sit down somewhere out of sight to take your pics and notes. I avoid the app as it usually has free stuff on it. Just because they ask I do not remember anything saying we have to use it?

isaiah, you don't like free stuff? LOL!

I love free stuff, I have tons of loyalty apps. The shop already reimburses for the purchase, so be careful using the app.

Oh no I get it completely. You don't have to use the free pretezels that they give us. Mine are still on the phone. I don't ever get pretzels unless it's a shop.
I just did one a few days ago, and the cashier asked if I had the app (as required by the MSC). Yup, got my loyalty points and got to check "yes" for that question.

This one really isn't that bad. If there is a line you can write down the names of the workers before you get to the counter. I always make a little "shopping list" paper that has the cues for the mystery shop on the inside. On the outside it looks like a shopping list.

Then go sit nearby so you can look again at the associates if you need to. You can snap your pics of the pretzel and receipt and have most things ready to go by the time you get to your computer.

LOVE these! Wish the rotation were closer and that we had more near my town!
They do have a mobile application, it's not a requirement. What I meant was they have a store and a satellite location. When you sign up to shop one you are required to shop both. It wasn't bad. First pretzel I forgot to take a pic before my granddaughter ate half. LOL. I took a few notes with my phone while in line. The report was long but as long as everything went fine it was just yes/no questions.
There are several pretzel companies shopped and I'm going to venture a guess that some are talking about different shops. The most common ones are Auntie Anne's (forgive me if an MSC has been named, I looked and didn't see one) which is super easy. I'm going to guess that LeslieKay is talking about one of the other brands?

These shops are really easy. The things you need to remember are the pretty standard stuff like uniforms, greeting, etc. Remember to look for samples being offered and to take a photo of the pretzel.
I spoke to Judy Davis from Nsite asking if I'd do the pretzel shop. I asked about what LesleyKay111 said about the mobil.and that we have to shop both. She was very disturbed about this is information, and said no, it has
never been a requirement, and if shoppers thought it were, they wouldn't do it. She asked me to please post
this information. I personally have never know about the app., and again, it is not required. @LesleyKay111
are we talking about the same MSC, if we are, it is not a requirement and she is concerned, are you speaking of this MSC or another so this can be cleared up.

I got 3 AA Pretzel shops I grabbed today 2 in same mall and one in a travel plaza all with nice bonuses.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Different clients and different MSCs. This is why being totally ambiguous causes too much confusion.

I couldn't eat three pretzels and I have found they don't keep well, but I too would do it if the bonuses were good. Unfortunately they never get bonused where I live except for the one at the student union at our local college, which requires paid parking and a considerable walking distance, and the bonus is never more than $5 so I take a pass on it. Good for you that you are able to squeeze out the bonus!
In my area, the pay is $10 including a bonus, with a $5 reimbursement. What was the original pay, $5?

Well two are on 1 day and the other is a different day. I have done 4 in one day before and get different products either nuggets or pretzel dog. I can eat two but usually its a few bites and I toss if I have more than 1 and no one to share with. I just wish they would increase the reimbursement $2 more so I could at least get a drink if offered.

My MSC pays 20.00 flat rate, but since they don't serve coffee, McD's is 1.00.....I love the pretzel dogs,
what a treat. longer report, but very doable. I'm grabbing one for the weekend., we have two in my mall,
I would do two, make it lunch......

you need to say your MSC because they all do not require mobil, mine doesn't, so this becomes confusing info.

In a few locations, for AA, there are both a regular store front and a kiosk. The instructions alert us to sign up for both. The MSC has a hard time regulating this.

I got three total today. 10 bucks, 20 bucks and 30 bucks for going to a Wally World and some rest stops. Made for a nice route.

It is not Nsite in my area. In my case, when you download your personalized shop details, it says that you MUST go sign up for the satellite location and then vice-versa when you download the satellite instructions it says you MUST do the other location. Never said that the App was required, though.
