fast food screening questions

I realize there is more than one company that has fast food with golden arches. I do more shops for the one and they have screening questions before taking a shop. If you pass the screening questions you can accept a shop. Do you all see a screening question asking "Do you confirm your vehicle windows are effectively working?" I think they are asking for the drive thru portion of the shop but it seems a bit odd to me.

I feel certain that is for the drive thru portion. Guess they have gotten excuses of "I didn't hear because my window stuck". You indeed sort of wonder from time to time where screening questions come from and I suspect many are in response to previous issues.
I would also suspect that it helps to clarify the fact that you were greeted in a timely manner and also that the order taker repeated/confirmed your order as well as seeing it on the COD screen.
I think it has to do with the timing of the shop. Have any of you ever been in the drive-thru behind someone in a car with windows that didn't work? They have to open & close their door at each stop (i.e. order point, cash window, food window). They also have to pull up just right so that their open door doesn't hit the window, which protrudes from the building.

Pulling up just right and opening & closing the door would significantly impact the timing, which seems to be one of the most significant portions of the shop.

I guess he is back! :-)

I have a brand new 2009 KIA but the windows have to be rolled down manually. I usually just roll it down as I pull in the lot and then take my first timing when I stop at the end of the drive. Then there are no obstructions and I can pick up everything on my DVR. I pray for no rain on ff days. lol

One would say that whether your windows are working effectively have nothing to do with the WALK-IN. After the drive around is when one should open the window. This way it does not interfere with your paying for your food or receiving it.

If your window isn't down, most FF members shoved your food at you, they are likely to get the food smashed back in their face.

Sometimes WE do SHOP in increment weather, when you come to the first stop in line rolled down your window.
Of course if the service is awful on a rainy day you can hit the windshield wipers when you arrive at the window and give the attendant a bath. :^)
On rainy days I prefer this fast food restaurant to the others because most of the spots I visit have canopies over the order point. Around here, they're the only FF places to have the canopies at all 3 spots where my window has to be down.
How did the other two posts on this topic get eliminated?

I know that one post contained spam & dee posted SPAM after it, but I thought this site offered refuge from an administrator that deleted posts. What am I missing?
Spam gets deleted and usually our 'SPAM' comment along with it. Other stuff is not touched. If something is actually missing it is accidental. Sometimes entire threads get moved to a more appropriate section of the forum, but leaves behind a note that the thread has been moved. If there is something specific you are looking for, try the search feature for it as you may have read it in a different thread. The admin here is good about leaving stuff unless it has gotten ugly or spiteful.

That is why Five Guys is kicking the pants off Ronald Mc Donald. I would glady wait 6 to 8 minutes for a burger which differs from that mystery pad of precooked meat you get at Mickey D. In California, I heard they used kangaroo meat. The authorities investigated when everyone's stomach got jumpy after eating the mystery meat.

While I love the image, kangaroo meat is too valuable and exotic to end up in a McD. What they do perpetrate on a beef patty, however, should be outlawed.
