THANK YOU
Reply to Sneakers: The site MSFreedom.com is not a mystery shop posting site. It is an advertising site for mostly those hideous work at home sites that flood your email box with crap offers, requests ,and stuff we do not need. For that kind of business I have my own product that never emails customers, adds extra offers,or other wise annoys the crap out of people.
Mind you I sure ain't gettin' rich so who knows maybe moral online selling isn't the answer to my problems either.

She meant MSFreedom.org, sorry about the confusion. It is another mystery shopping forum and has decent company lists.
I found the MSFreedom. org site.It appears to go by the name forum city.It is also the lonliest forum site(next to mine that is) I have ever seen.
But if anyone wants to set up a blog type site for their own mystery shopping that would be the place to do it.

I spoke too soon. They seem to be having a host issue and are taking any new forums. I am going to check back in the future and maybe they will start again.

The problem over at forum city is a lack of space. A year or so ago the owner of forum city had cleared out a bunch of unused forums but still did not have enough space to accommodate MSFreedom.org. A great deal of thread pruning has been necessary just to keep the forum from crashing. 50,000 posts is about all the space there is, so at that point host issues start crashing the place.
Fortune--what do you mean by lonely? MSFreedom has thriving conversations going on all day, of which I'm also a participant. I presume you mean Forum City, the parent site. I've not actually gone up that step. Between that forum and this, you 'll gets tons of knowledge on MSing.
Another great place to look is the MSPA web site (mysteryshop.org). They have a place on their site - open to everyone that has every member company on it - and most of them direct links to the companies so you can sign up with them.

And,at the risk of using "he who shall not be named", there is a good link at Volition that has links to many, many mystery shopping companies.
MSfreedom [www.msfreedom.org] has had issues this past week as well as all the other forums at ForumCity. The admin of Forum City will be improving and rebuilding so as to prevent this from happening. This forum has jobs posted and a list of ms companies. DO NOT confuse www.msfreedom.org w/the other msfreedom.com as that is just a bunch of ads.........

Another ms forum is Mystery shopper resources (schedulers post job there too) [mysteryshopresources.yuku.com]

The MSPA has a forum but not used much lately. There is a list of companies there though.

What I usually do is sign up with alot of companies and then check the job board,
enter : search...country, state , how many miles from your zip code that you are willing to travel. Keep in mind that 9 out of 10 times, you dont get distance pay.

It may well be that they already have sufficient shoppers for the area. It may also be that you inadvertently messed up something with your application. Hard to tell. At one point when I was reviewing an ap prior to sending it I noted I had marked year of birth as 1997 instead of 1947. One of those 'duh' moments. I would not have been accepted as I would have been too young to contract with.
Hello Carla,

If you don't know this company. I use www.epmsonline.com . They only do apartments. They have phone and onsite, phone and onsite video, and phone and onsite audio. They will provide the equipment. They ship it to you, you do the shop, and send it back as-soon-as-possible through FedEx. They provide the shipping label.

I am basically a new shopper who has done at least 10 shops for them already. Some of the reporting is long, but if you do the audio or video shops it cuts the online reporting down considerably. They have been reliable with there payments.
