Subway

Shoppers should respect this forum's guidelines. I appreciate being a part of this community. My business has certainly improved thanks to the shared experiences of others, and I enjoy hanging out here. Yes, shoppers need to read and abide by their ICAs, and members of this forum need to respect the posted guidelines. Fortunately, this is not a moderated forum, and we need to police ourselves, so to speak, and show respect where it is due.

The reminders educate those who do not realize they are violating an ICA and haven't read the posting guidelines so don't know they are not observing the guidelines. If anyone is chased away because they are unwilling to abide by the posting guidelines of the forum, then it's probably good that they are chased away. Our forum is not heavily moderated as others are. Our administrator allows us to be adults and to police ourselves .... and that means that if others unwittingly break ICAs and posting guidelines, a gentle reminder (and I think Flash is guite gentle) is in order.
I am with Flash.

People need to be reminded about the possible ICA breach. We ALL know that some shopping companies monitor shopper forums. I would prefer that ours maintain a good reputation. At least someone on our forum cares enough to point out a possible ethical conflict. This certainly holds weight with the MSC's.

Plus, newer shoppers are relying on our forum's advice. Perhaps they have never actually READ our forum guidelines and/or their ICA's! (Human nature, ya'know...skip all that time-consuming reading stuff.)

Besides, I have been known to avoid giving away my lucrative assignments to *inquiring minds* by hiding behind my ICA confidentiality clause. "Sorry (NOT!) that I can't tell you what company shops GFS Stores...it's against my Contractor Agreement. Sign up with lots of companies, you'll find it." !!
A friend of mine did one of these and after her experience I would never do one. there was not just no offer of soup but no soup. she took pictures so she would have proof, she got the names, did everything right and her shop was declined because she did not order the soup. Makes sense right? After hearing that one I said no way to that mess.
I know we can't divulge company names here but can someone send me the company that shops Subway? My e-mail is jcbgolfer47@gmail.com. Thanks.
I did a Subway at a truck stop. I can't divulge the name of the msc, but never again. They were nit-picky and gave me a rating of 8. The report was time-consuming and not worth it.
And my problem with that shop is that it is unrealistic as well. Why would I buy a 6" for 5 to 50 cents less than a footlong? And accept the 'double meat' or cheese places the 6" at a more expensive price than a footlong. The only time I have had the reimbursement cover was when the 'artist' forgot to mention double meat or cheese. So even if they don't question the report it is still a waste of time and money because the fee is so small and the reimbursement requirements for me are both nonsensical and don't cover.
I did one of those truck stop ones, too. What a pit that place was...The floor had been cleaned in one spot, probably where there'd been a spill, and it was noticeably cleaner than the whole rest of the floor, like a bleach spot on dark grey t-shirt! There was a smear of cheese and mustard on one of the booth telephones' handsets. Yuck. I don't want to do a shop at that location again just because it was so gross. I didn't get dinged for telling the truth, at least!

I thought at first you were yelling at us because you hadn't been paid, then I realized your caps lock must be stuck. It makes both your posts hard to read and kind of annoying.
